I'm not pointing a finger all of it was bad from the water pump pulley delay mis info on the torq spec and it not even being the right bolt for the asp pulley

its the correct bolt (straight from ASP).... you can torque same bolts to different specs depending on the application.

on the application for the after market asp pulleys the bolt just has to be torqued more than on an oem pulley that has harmonic balancer, that is why the pulley manufaturer specifies torquing the bolt more than oem torque spec


problem seems most techs dont torque to the 275+90 spec recommended by the manufaturer, and then the pulley falls off. (has happened to a few members on this forum including me and you)... the mb dealership up here wouldnt do my original install because they said they dont do aftermarket pulleys...

You had the correct bolt as there is only one available ( black one that says AMG on it ). It's the oem bolt but it has to be torqued way high.
