Best/cheapest trunk spoiler?

Really want to get a subtle trunk spoiler to make the rear of the car stand out a bit. I don't want anything crazy expensive, the best deal I have found so far is this one, it's a great price and pretty much exactly what I'm looking for - https://mbworld.org/forums/w211-amg/...0-shipped.html - but I don't know if the guy still sells them or what.. anyone have some suggestions?

I think the aero function lip spoiler looks very good.

The spoiler I got from JBSpeed was color matched perfectly, fit great and was inexpensive to boot. I recommend them !

Not sure when the last time carbon fiber was cheap? It's just a trunk lip spoiler and some 3m tape, no different (except visual) than the $1000 ones that suckers like yourself would buy.

And I'm good on the Hondas, I can hardly drive those things without stalling and I never stall any cars so you go ahead... I guess my genes won't even allow me to drive that slow economy stuff.

/nastiness

I sent gary@suvneer a PM yesterday and email today but no reply so far.

I bought on off ebay color matched and it fits perfect for less than $80 shipped.

Been on for three years with no problems

Believe it or not no one has come up to me and flamed me for not going OEM

Guys, its a freaking piece of plastic, not a brake or engine component.

You have any keywords or links to the spoiler you bought on ebay so I could check it out?

It's a freaking trunk spoiler for god sake. No reason to pay the premium for OEM. Any aftermarket spoiler (jbspeed or suvneer) will be fine. I've had a suvneer on for over 3 years and it's held up fine.

Of course there are some scenarios were OEM would be the better option, but this is not the case for a trunk spoiler.

Exactly, I don't see why people are bashing him for trying to save money on a piece of plastic. I fully understand that the car is a Benz (and an AMG for that matter) and you shouldn't cheap out on parts, but this has no mechanical functionality and serves the same purpose as the OEM! If that's the case, why is everyone jumping on Gary's E63 bumpers instead of going OEM?

Good question, but the easy answer is they're cheap. I've yet to see a picture of one of those installed that looks like it fits right. Gaps and spacing is off on every one I've seen. But you get 90% of the E63 look for about 30% of the cost of OEM. That's why people jump on them.

I bought the cheapest one on EBay I could find that came with the roof spoiler. It came in last week, I sanded it and painted it, it looks 100%. I have gotten so many compliments on it's fitting in the past few days. I sanded some corners a little to smooth them out. Think I paid $120 for both and $13 for a pint of paint.

Right, that's what I'm saying... and a spoiler won't have the same fitment issues a front bumper does. I just don't understand why some people know how to be smart with their money!
