check carmax, I got mine shipped to the branch right down the road free. $34k + about $2k for warranty = $36k+tax out the door for at '07 w/ 59k miles and exclusive warranty for 6yrs/up to 125k miles.

I just know that every third party/dealer I spoke to either charged 4-5k for a warranty OR wouldn't cover an AMG period.

I agree with newlyAMG. CARMAX usually have great clean cars (not abused/body work, leaks etc...). I had good experience with them. Also their extended warranty cost much lower than other franchise dealerships.

They seem pretty low on their stock currently but I will keep an eye on them over the coming weeks.

EDIT: Any comments on their "No Haggle" pricing? Is that true? They seem a tad high to not negotiate.

Yeah back in May there were 1-4 in the country at a time, so when one came up close by I got it transferred over and jumped on it, now it looks like 8-10 at a time.

And yeah I don't think there's much they can do on the price. When mine came in it had 61,500 miles on it, having been advertised at 59,000 (a manager at another store had driven it for a month or so and "that's perfectly normal, and the system wasn't updated properly", so i made a big deal about it, talked to 4 different people never taking any of them to know what they were talking about, and finally the last guy pretty much said "The car is priced where it should be, the miles don't matter that much, and if you don't buy it, we'll probably raise the price and someone else will jump on it".

But no way they can change the prices as far as I know.

I figured I made up for it with the cheap warranty and having them do about $2k of maintenance and repairs within a month of buying it (on their tab)

Good Luck!!!!
