There is a guy that claims that he is the only company in the world that can rebuild these superchargers. He told me that they are pressed together and he has to bake them for and press them apart.

Nice to know he is full of crap. I will break mine down Tuesday and figure out what went wrong with it.

Please fix the pics.

It literally couldn't be easier to pull the rotors once the SC is off.

Just pulled my failed stock supercharger apart. Comes right apart in just a couple of minutes. The Oklahoma guy was a little misleading.

Considering the damage to the rotors the case is in great shape.

Had to of been a bearing failure in the front of the one of the rotors.

The start of a little project i've been wanting to do. I've got 4 hours into the inlet so far. Next were going to open it up to 4 inches for part 2 of my project. Wonder what it will take to get a 4'' pipe to the inlet.....

I also have pulled a few aprt and the rotors slide right out. That will allow you access to porting the compressed air outlet side of the blower. Finney`s "shock to awe" thread shows more detail on what he did. Hard part, is messing with that damn stinky oil

I like the gutted inlet!

My blower already has some porting done to it but after seeing the rotor messed up i'm going to see how much more i can open it up. The inlet i used before was modded like this also but that one is set up and welded for a flush mount 82mm TB so i didn't want to mess that one up

I hacked my center out of the inlet as well but yet to run it. What was your experience with it. Did you gain any boost or lower the IAT at all because of it? Wondering if the blower was more efficient. Lastly, did you put anything over the bearing supports to help the flow. Had an idea to drill and tap in aluminum cones to cover them that are smaller than what AMG has...

Don't really know if it helped or not but i don't think it hurt anything at all. I didn't get any testing done with it just a few 1/4 mile runs. I think it will help air flow and also cooling myself.

Are the rotor bearings easily accessible to press them out?
Does anyone know if replacement bearings are easy to source?
