It was a fun event for sure. But it ended early.
First the white Porsche (in the vid)blew its engine. So they had to clean that up. Then the Supra blew its engine and lost control and hit the wall. Took 2 hours to clean that one up then it started to rain. So we were done.
No big deal. I had fun. Ran 11.7 on street tires, full interior, no ice and a 1/4 tank of gas. I drove from my house, tech'd in and ran. It was hot as sin. I just wanted to see what it would do.

The CLS had some problems. He was trying to run 10s, but only got low 11s.
And I could have gone lower on streets, but JR was messing with me about the GTO that jumped on me. He kept saying that I was texting at the tree since it seemed so slow. So I hurried up and put the Hoosiers on. And of course I launch like a bat out of hell and went sideways. Lol

You are correct sir! But at first they were prepping every half hour. But after noon they slowed down and then the supra wrecked just after 2pm and no one got to race after that. But every one had fun doing donuts around the trash cans. Lol

PBIR
It was great meeting up with RBJ , JS Benz , and AMX Jim. I too had some Issues with hooking up. This was the 4th time in as many months the Track Prep could have been better. I just couldn't get past the 12 sec flat barrier. My final run of the day, 1st to 2nd shift I had some tire hop. 2nd to 3rd there was a bang and bad rattle from the right rear. Jim& I looked at it and thought it was the top link going forward to the sub frame. I drove the car home . Put it up on stands looked around. I found the most forward 10 mm X 65 mm long bolt that holds the front of the diff to the sub-frame broken. Looks like I stretched the threads 1st , Then Broke it off at the nut inside the frame. What a Pain in the A$$ . I'm not liking PBIR much these days.

Replacement bolt
The bolt that broke was a 10 / 1.5 X 65 mm medium carbom steel mark 8.8 which is a 830 Tensile Strength . I replaced it 10.9 1040 Tensile Strength. I'm beginning to feel like RBJ , whats breaking NEXT !!

Yes, Yes, I know that feeling very well. Good luck in your repair! Maybe I'll see you back at the track.
