Regardless, my family and I are praying for all those affected by this just unreal horror.

What really bothers me aside from the obvious is why choose an institution that educates the next generation how NOT to live their lives? A school, where young children learn to become civil, innocent, and do things based on moral values of life... is chosen to now become a place of fear. All we can say is why... why did this happen? why didn't it happen at a place of much less innocence such as a bar or a club?

It disgusts me what happened this am.
What makes me almost as angry is people posting on facebook about lumping gun ownership with this wack job.
Why people take a tragedy and turn it into their political pulpit makes me want to smack them upside the head.

I agree... for now we reflect and mourn, but eventually a solution needs to arise. I don't have the solution, and I don't think anyone can solidify one that takes care of these violent acts ultimately.

Maybe, but when people plan to take their own life after doing crazy things, I don't think they care a whole lot if someone else gets them first.

And you are right, but the amount of people killed will be minimized.
With that said, we've had many many school shootings for over 200 years, why would it change now?

Ugh I actually have a cousin who lives in Newtown, his youngest is in elementary school. We finally got word he was in one of the other elementary schools... Apparently everyone is a mess right now
, sad to see this. I will pray for the families involved

I have 3 kids with the oldest being 5 and missed the school cutoff being born the end of October. Really makes us wonder about homeschooling. What kind of sick person kills helpless kids. It just turned my stomach inside out.

Gotta be off your rocker to go after children. If he had a beef with his mom, then take her life and then his own. Need more armed citizens out there to prevent these mass shootings.
