Looks like I might be moving to AMERICA!

I finally have the oportunity to get out of my hometown and move to a place I've been wanted to move to for a long time...TEXAS. With that said, it'll be quite a few months before I can get up and leave but I guess that means I'm going to have to give up my E55. I don't have any mods to sell YET so keep your vultures caged up for now...I'll see what I can do and post up what I have. lol.

Hopefully the future will hold another AMG...we'll see. But for now...I'll be a troller on the forums.

So what brings you to the U.S. (Texas) from Puerto Rico, job? And what made you want to
live in Texas, just curious? Is it the Dallas Cowboys cheerleaders, or maybe Eurocharged headquarters, or perhaps the TX2k street racing get together every year?

As for your car, is it just to expensive to ship and not worth it? Or just need the extra funds to help with the move? Sucks having to give up a car I am sure you love.

I'm looking for a better life for my family and I've been to Texas many times and love it. Plus, my brother lives. I'll likely just transfer in my job.

My E55 wouldn't be worth to ship and the least debt I have the better as I make the transition.

If it is just a matter of cost of getting it to the states, I would be down to toss some money in a pool to get it transported to the mainland.

That's awfully nice of you...

My wife will likely not work to take care of our son ( my mother in law takes car of him right now while we work ) for a while so I'd take a hit economically so I'm going to be as frugal as possible until I get everything squared out and then IF I can afford another AMG I'll just get one but it's not a priority right now. I'll probably just keep the ML350 we have but that's it.

Thanks guys. I'll lurk though...lol

PR is a commonwealth of the US but not a state. While the island has plenty of great things, the economy isn't one of them and while I make OK money, living in an area where crime is absurd and nothing seems to work well gets tiresome after 30 years.

I'd be looking in the KELLER area.

Congrats! Being this state is so big, you will only be about 6 hours from Houston, where a lot of us hang. Hope to meet up when you make the move.

I drove from keller to houston a few years ago. It was a good 3.5 hour drive if I remember correctly...not going the speed limit of course.
