I'd imaging programming would be a nightmare, but if you could use a central module to talk with the ECU and have that module be the 'go-between' for the twin TBs - wouldn't it be possible to increase airflow even more than the single TB?

obviously this would be for the 'money is no barrier' type of owner

Which you don't seem to be. Besides why would you do that with the stock Supercharger?

LOL you are correct... this is more of an exploratory for those who have the means of disposable income not sure if it's been tried on stock or Weistec?

it seems everyone is going after these 90-92mm TBs - so why not plop in two 62s? 124mm for airflow then...

or is the stock S/C not capable beyond 92mm?

the stock supercharger will take what you give it. The problem is tuning that and figuring out how to make it all work. I've though about trying to split the wires and see if it could operate them both.

i have thought about it. the easiest would be to split the motor power only to the second tb. keep the potentiometer wires only with one tb.

btw toadster. it doesn't really work like that- 64+64=124. atleast for volume of a circle. without doing the math, 2-64mm would be about equal to one 95mm or so. the 74mm tb's are a dime a dozen so i would atleast start there.

doing the math, the area of one 92mm equals 2-64mm. it equals roughly 6500sqmm

2-74= 8600sqmm roughly 104mm would equal 2-74mm

ok cool, was just throwing out some numbers - you experts know the dealio

I guess the next question is how to fit twin 74mm TBs under the bonnet

come right off the back of the supercharger with a Y. run a tb on each side and continue you air cleaner tubing to front of radiator. pretty easy really.

You should sell a kit, it sounds like you've got it all figured out.

Face the Y upwards, cut two 4" holes in the hood, run pipes to fresh air from Y, put huge tuner boyz neon green foam filters on...BINGO! cold air intake and that dope look. 50hp ez.

lol. the answer is simple, i personally think it to be a worthless mod and not worth the trouble. maybe if i have some spare time i will try it. before that i am going to get rid of the dam clutch.

i have been working on the car nonstop since buying it and currently building the exhaust, installing all the gauges, misha wb kit on the way, getting prepped for paint and it all has to be done in 2.5 months.

because i feel my knowledge is getting questioned, i will answer it again, i have alot more stuff going on than worrying about doing this on a whim to suffice your curiousity. not because i do not have the skill to do it. been building show cars and bikes for over 20 years.

Cool story. Can't wait to see the Misha kit, probably one of my favorite wide body kits of all time.

thanks pac. pretty excited about doing it. i do all the fitment and paint myself also, so will be modding a couple parts of the kit to "individualize it"

i will retract my previous statement of this being a worthless mod. i think the perfect set up would be the weistec blower and dual tb's. not sure if they would be willing to sell a kit without the rear blower piece's and tb housing though.
even stock blowers, if you remove stock tb, stock blower inlet, and come right off blower back there would be tons of room to make a Y there. eliminate stock air cleaner housings and locate cone filters in front of rad.
i have been looking at plans to do dual intercoolers and dual tb's. i would have to mod hood though. now, with a frp misha hood coming, it will be far easier to mold and mod it without cutting apart a stock hood.
i have only had the car for a little over 2 months, and by my sig you can see how much i have done already to what was a bone stock car (lots more actually but it cut me off at 500 spaces, lol). as time progresses, i am sure these crazy projects will come to light.

major props for all that work in 2 months!

I'd still like to see someone design an intake for the high-pressure area at the base of the windshield too - sounds like you're the man
