I figure the hardest part is getting the supercharger center bolt off. I went to harbor freight and bought a $50 electric impact gun with ~250lbs ft tq, 15/16 socket, impact swivel, and a strap wrench. I heated up the bolt with just a heat gun for a few minutes and then hit it with the impact for a good 40 seconds straight and it came right off lol. Then again my supercharger bearing has been replaced before so the bolt is probably easier to come off.

I think the tools necessary are least important.. IMO. I just need to know exactly what is required to be removed or disconnected. And a pic or two with arrows pointing to what/where to disconnect would be a godsend.

What Info are we missing here
So The OP removes the everything from the Throttle body to the air filter boxes ? Or does he leave the Y adapter in place ? . Getting those rubber bellows off the Y and or the air filter boxes is a pain in the butt. The Oetiker style clamps are hard to remove . The bellows are stuck to the the Y and or the air filter boxes. So you flex & twist the Bellows to get them off?
Inside of the bellows is a Oval steel support ring . It is not molded or glued in place. just sets in a shallow groove to keep the bellows from collapsing under hi throttle openings. Twisting the bellows will dislodge the steel ring . It will make its way through the Throttle body. goes to the blower rotor blades .
the inter-cooler will catch some of the debris , but much of it gets blasted back toward the throttle body intake manifold , the the bypass valve opens up !! end of Story . I've seen this twice in the last 6 years.
Cheers _PTEngineering

Christmas is finally over woohoooo. Going to take another crack at this soon here. Any tips on removing old hoses without messing them up? It looks as if they're going to crumble away if I try to work them off with a flathead or rip apart if I tug too hard..

I usually pry around the orifice of hoses with a small screw driver to break the seal and then pull on it. Careful with vacuum hoses, they may become brittle but are cheap to fix if they break.

Also, if there is plenty of slack in them you can always use a razor and slice them off the cut them flush for reinstallation.

4 bolts for the supercharger on each side? Looks like theres a 5th one on each side in the back..
And do I need to pull the injectors?

Ok she is running again. I towed the car to the shop yesterday and basically spent the entire day learning how to remove/install the supercharger. When we pulled it off and looked inside there was a damn pile of shredded rubber/plastic/metal. No idea what got in there.. but I sprayed almost 3 cans of brake cleaner, wd40, and an air hose through the supercharger rotors while I held it upright and slowly spun them until I couldn't see any more shavings falling out anymore. The video is pretty much showing what it looked like right after the pile of stuff was removed before I cleaned it all out. Opened the cooler and there was a bunch of junk in there also but it looked pretty clean on the other side. How bad does the damage look in the video?
We did have to pull the injectors and flip the entire fuel rail over to the side out of the way. When I first started her up there was a bit of ticking left and it still sounds rough on a cold start but I think it's worked itself out now it sounds pretty normal. There was only a tiny bit of rubbing left in one spot when I put it back on and I couldn't figure out what it was so that was the furthest I could go with cleaning it out.
So thankful for the guy running the shop I go to. He basically had me do all the work and helped me with what I couldn't or didn't know how to do. I know I can remove/install this thing myself now, minus the lifting lol.
I thought about that.. but I know there are hoses and stuff in areas where I can't really get a pic, and also wasn't sure of where to take pics and what of... maybe next time lol.

Success, congratulations on you recent project. You are lucky that the piece that went thru the SC did not hold the throttle open instead, could have been a big problem trying to slow down. Again good job. As you already know never run without air filters again.

Thanks Critter
Does anyone know the correct route for this vacuum hose? It's blue and goes to the top of the supercharger. We put it on next to last and... yeah... lol.
Also, my a/c and heat suddenly stopped working now... wtf?

+1, If it still sounds off a little, it's super easy to pull the rotors out. You were about 5 mins from having them out and there's nothing special needed to remove or install them.

Does anyone know the size of the lower coolant hose on the left side that had to be disconnected? It rubbed on a pulley and cut a hole in it. Trying to find a same size hose so I can just cut it and use an adapter to just replace the area where the hole is.
Or a part number for the entire hose would be awesome. Cant find it on parts.com

It was 5/8" :P
Chopped about 4-5 inches off and replaced the section with 5/8" hose and an adapter. All good now

if it is the one i am thinking of, it routes under the blower. maybe a coat hanger could make it under, then tape line to it and try to pull it through underneath. not a big deal though if you don't mind seeing it on top.
