With prices dropping more and more we're gonna see more people jump in and push things to levels most of us would never dream of. How long before someone guts the A/C in the name of weight savings in an E55 W211? If no one has yet I bet we're not too far from it.

My intention was to basically get answers to a questions as to who's car ran 10.46. At this point in time, I guess no one from Eurocharge is going to say anything about this mystery car. It would be nice if Jerry@Eurochrage can chime in and back up his claim but it doesn't look like it will happen. I'm not trying to turn this into any kinda tuner debate over who is better and what not. After all, it's clear to me that both tuners are equally as good. But what gets me upset is when someone makes a claim and doesn't back it up with any kind of evidence. Question, if i said I'm the fastest with no timeslipe, video, or pictures, would any of you believe me?

Valid point.

If the owner of the 10.4x sled doesn't want attention, I completely understand.
If this is the case, the tuner should honor that by not advertising the accomplishment for bragging rights as the owner doesn't want to brag.

Was 10.5x not good enough...lol.

Exactly.
When you said that about RBJ's car I couldn't help but think..." Does Steve have any idea how loud HIS car is when he is making a pass with just headers".

The crazy thing is I ran it out thru a x pipe and into dumps. The new setup for light weight will be dumps right off the headers.

Been rumors for a while now of one to two cali cars runnning 10.4. There are several cars being built from cali to the east coast that plan and should run 9`s.

Been seeing high mileage e55`s going for 12-15K and sure is tempting to drop a big motor in one. Sure like RBJ seats!

Damn stock cat back weighs about 85lbs alone! Dumps!!!

Interesting. What's your WHP with all the mods?

Just curious because I had some work done on my car and it dyno'd pretty low all things considering, I have the same set-up as you except I have the secondaries still in place. Everything else is out, I was told I'm losing WHP because of the lack of back-pressure. Thoughts? Or do you just not care cuz it sounds so beast?

A lot of cars loose tq not hp. E55s make 600+ wtq all day long. But I've never hit 600wtq. However I do make more whp than most with the same mods. It works for me since my 60fts are amazing.
The dyno day we had a few weeks ago my car made 540whp/592wtq on a dynojet. I always felt I was low on tq, but my top end is killer since I spray meth after 11psi.

Losing power because lack of back pressure?? It will hurt torque but help horsepower in the higher rpm's where you make peak HP at.

Exactly!

My 93oct tune is set up for street runs (anywhere from 50-150mph). And my Q16 tune is for 1/4 mile racing with ice.

That what I was thinking but I was told otherwise by the tuner modding my car. I was told it needs SOME back pressure..

Who did you tune and what dyno did you use? I personally don't care much for dyno's. They are fine for setting up a car for WOT and getting a good baseline for things but the numbers don't mean much. Some ready really low, some read high and some read extremely high plus a dyno operator can adjust things to change the outcome.
