E55 Front Swaybar Bushings
I've isolated my noisy swaybar bushings. Does anyone have a part number for these bushings, or have experience replacing them?
All I could find with a search is that they're not available separately from the bar. I'm hoping that's not the case.
Thanks for any assistance.

They are in two hales (the ones I saw) and no aftermarket for them that I know of. Did you search epc-online.com for part numbers? Great place to find parts ansd cross reference other models parts.

i found these as i am looking to do the same.

the dealership will tell you that you have to replace the whole sway bar but i have heard of other people just replacing the bushings by cutting the old rubber ones off and sliding on universal Polyurethane aftermarket bushings
here is a diy on similar MB car setup

Please let me know what you come up with. I think you're on to it. Unfortunately our bar is above the sub frame and will be much more involved than the W210. Probably not too tough if you've done motor mounts.

yeah i think it is above th sub frame, i think just enough upwards pressure on the engine to relieve pressure on the assembly will be enough to be able to remove the bar but wont know until i try

The forward bolt in the bracket runs into the body, so the sub has to be lowered. The other 2 are easy to get out but that's not enough to remove the bushing. Some brackets with zerks would be great for our setup!

if it becomes to much of a pain, i have heard of some corvette guys (they have similar creaky bushing probs) just spraying from marine silicon spray in the bushings with good luck for about a year of creak free driving

tried to reply to your pm, but your inbox was full...
def let me know how that wurth stuff goes as i would much prefer just to spray some lube into the bushing as opposed to do a bunch of disassembly in the cold just to eradicate one creaky noise

E55K AMG
Any updates with this thread, i am interested to know. Over here in the uk i was told i have to order the whole sway bar (anti roll bar), and that you cant buy bushes separately because they are attatched to the bar.
Is this true?

just update, both DVC and I used the Wurth HHS-2000 / HHS-K High Pressure Spray Grease and seems to have worked for both of us.... i think he did basically the same thing as me which was spray the crap out of the bushing with the spray...
so nice not having creaky sway bar anymore
