Who has the earliest build date for 2004?
I've been reading the W211 board and some of those guys are getting August builds for their 04's, my dealer claims that mine will be the first 2004 E55 they order but my NetStar printout says 9/3? Does AMG have a later model year?

The build date will have a lot to do with the size of your dealership. Some of the larger stores will get cars allocated earlier that smaller ones. Also, AMG will allocate spots by the number of the previous model the store sold. So, if your dealer did not sell a lot of the W210 55's, then they will not get as many W211 55's! I hope this helps.

Funny though, my dealership is a pretty low volume dealer and, given the area, I would think a very low AMG volume. Yet they got my third decade of June build date back in March, only about a month or so after I put my $1000 down.

Marcus, can you confirm earliest build dates for the '04's?
I stopped by my dealer on 8/1 and they still had no confirmed dates----but they had a beautiful black '03 E55 sitting in the middle of the showroom floor just to make my pain a little more intense.

my build date originally was 9/1 but a week or so after that it changed to 9/2. I haven't checked with the dealer for a month now but will around mid month to see if they have 04 pricing and check my build date once again!

Yes, our earliest build date for the MY04 E55 is 9/1 decade. It is a car that has already been optioned & it going to have DVD Navi. The client is one of our store's "VIP's" as he has purchased about 8 cars from us in the last 5 years.

I guess my dealer isn't big enough. I got bumped from 9/2 to 9/3 when I updated my NetStar order.
Since it seems like you're a salesman, what does Prioritize mean on the NetStar order? Thanks!

I would say that is referring to Priority Level 1, 2 or 3. This is used to help the VPC determine which cars to get through Customs and to the dealers the quickest. Example: An ordered car for a client will be Priority 1, which means the car will get the fastest attention and trucked to the dealership the fastest. On the other hand Priority 3 are cars that are meant for dealer stock and will be put on the back burner.
