Can we go get OEM replacement mats from the dealer for our cars with the AMG logo on them like they were delivered with?

Mine had one missing when I bought it. The dealer said they would get a replacement set with the AMG logo and then told me you can't buy them anymore and would order me standard E series black mats.

I called another dealer that said you can but the set is $700. They are sending me the exact part numbers and cost.

^ I wonder if they fit the E63. I don't think anything would have changed but you never know. Might have to search when I get home.

a land yacht.
From my experience its best to get the OEM mats. They are decently priced for my car not positive about the W211's.

The ebay one's arent the best quality and the AMG logo isnt exact, but they'll do if you arent too particular.

Anything over $100 for a set of floor mats is just plain crazy. There is no way ANYONE can justify it.

That is so wrong. I've found them online for about $450 and that's still pathetic.

Part Number: 21168020489F80
LINING $446.40

That was a different dealer's quote. The dealer I bought from tried to pull a fast one and said you can't buy them anymore and ordered me the cheap normal E series ones. I have it in writing from them I get them so they better get me the right ones or I will have no problem taking them to small claims court on failure to perform.

I wish I knew how expensive these were when I bought my E63. It came with the Mercedes All Season floor mats. Normally I run the Weathertech mats, wish I would have told them to swap in the AMG mats instead. Oh well.

I got a set of those last year as my car came without mats. They're pretty much junk. The plastic parts that are supposed to fasten to the anchor posts popped right out and I'm quickly wearing a hole in the mat with my right heel. They also slide around easily since they don't anchor in and the spikes on the bottom are pretty weak.

For the ones in the back, I got some metal AMG plates and basically bolted them to the mats. Since the passenger traffic in the rear is much less, they're holding up acceptably.

That may be an option but I am pretty sure the dealer is going to come through.

Mine only came with front mats. Unfortunately lots of places sell just fronts, but nobody sells just rears. I might get the weathertech laser cut fit all seasons I guess. I did see a place online selling custom fit deep plush wool ones but hey wanted $400 or something.

Avoid the ebay mats at all costs. I have purchased mats for my E60 from several sellers, and they are all junk. The carpet material is barely glued (yes, I said GLUED) to the mat backing, and wears down easily. I would vacuum carpet "hairs" out of the car weekly. Not to mention, none of them were cut to proper size, and needed folded in order to fit. Anchors broke during the first use on 2 sets. And the plastic nubs on the backing broke off as the mat slides around. I have tried at least 10 vendors and they are all the same. After the first 3 sets, I will order and once they get to the house, I inspect them and end up sending them back.
