You have the same exact rims and sizes as mine except mine are gunmetal.

The offset in the rear will be hard to stuff the 285's, I had some rubbing issues, and some bad ones when I was lowered. I am now on 275/35/18 Nitto NT05's on the rear and they are the best tires for straight line traction and getting out of the dig.

245/40/18 fronts.

Damn, how much rub are we talking?? I wanted to lower the car more, but damn I thought 285s would be no biggie. The off sets are custom so maybe mile will fit it? How do I measure the offset and whats yours?

Mine were custom offset as well. I just told forgestar 18x8.5 and 18x10 and they did the offset, the back sits very flush, and is more concave than the fronts. I forgot the offset. I think I actually posted them on this site somewhere. They need that custom offset to clear our huge brakes.

If you could, maybe try and find that, and I will get mine off the wheels tomorrow. I have it written somewhere, but mine fit your description. The rears are much more concave

Edit, this is what I have written down, can't remember where from, but oh well.

18x8.5et+34 offset fronts, 18x10et+37 offset rears

Oh and did you use the forgestar centercaps? I plan on using mine, wanted to see what others have done.

Stock caps don't fit in so you pretty much have to use the forgestar caps. Your car shouldn't rub with the 285s if you're not lowered. I had my rears 19x10 with +22 offset with a 265 and it would only rub if you dipped on something hard with people in the back.

I can't find my offset for some reason. But you have to use the center caps from Forgestar. Because the Mercedes ones are way too big.

It was rubbing the outside edge corner of my Hankook RS3 tires. Those are very boxy tires though, but it would wipe the edge off on my rear fenderwall. Then you have rubber to clean up.

Got my car at the shop now for tire and rim install. The guy said he didn't want to rush anything so he gave me his truck to take home. Nice guy too, quality work. Then this weekend I will be detailing the car. Then pics with a professional cannon camera I got my hands on...

Teeny thread hi-jack:

From the reviews I've read on these tyres, the consensus is that the tyre is good in the dry, has a soft sidewall and has a reasonable life expectancy...is that fair to say? Good grip off the lights, comfortable ride?

I need to get a new rear pair for mine soon for the 19's, but I want to go away from the 275 30 19 Continental Sport Contact 3 tyres as I didn't find them all that great in grip off the line and annoyingly the car isn't very comfortable either. I thought it was down to the rim/tyre size, but my 18" wheels' have Continentals too and the ride isn't exactly what I'd call lush. Is that just how airmatic suspension are? My previous car was an E320 (W211) with airmatic and that was a bit bumpy also.

To the OP I like the wheels...it's always nice getting brand new wheels and tyres to mount on them

Need help w/adding 20's to 98 E 320 (W210)

I have 1998 E 320 Sedan Base Model. (I know it's old, but really clean)

I purchased a set of used (20" x 8.5") BZO Scorpion-30. (They were previously on a 2011 E 350.)

2 of (2) 20mm 5x112 Hubcentric Wheel Spacers

I ordered 61mm and 40mm lug bolts to apply the wheels and spacers to the hub, but they both were too short.

I'm not sure where to find lug bolts long enough to fit.

Can you help me with this issue?
Is this configuration even possible?

Diameter: 20"
Front Rim Width: 8.5"
Front Rim Offset: ET -12
Front BZO Scorpion 30
Rear Rim Width: 8.5"
Rear Rim Offset: ET -12
Rear BZO Scorpion 30
Bolt pattern: 5 x 112
Tires: 245/35/20
