FWIW, just as a point of reference, my only 'power adder' mods are the upper pulley (clutched) and EC dyno tune.

I went from 411rwhp/477rwtq to 452rwtq/504rwtq. The driveability characteristics of the car are FAR better and smoother. I recommend this combo to everyone. You will not be disappointed.

You'll easily see 50HP+ gain at the crank.

Does this kit work on a 2008 G55?

Hi. Sorry for the thread resurrection but will this kit work on a 2008 G55? If not would anyone know where i can order the kit for the G55? I am about to pull the trigger on one I found on Amazon but am not sure the tune is the same for an E55 and a G55.

Thanks in advance

I ordered a kit from Eurocharged and went with 83mm as recommended

What water pump would anyone recommend i change or replace the stock one with? Would anyone have a model number?

On my Kleemann supercharger setup I added an auxiliary bosch water pump. Is there a particular model number I can find to replace the stock one with?

I just finished swapping my HX and pump. I went with a used CW50 off E-Bay, part number 11517566335. It flows more than about every pump but the CW100 and can be had for a lot cheaper used.

The pump can be had to 60-80 range but you will need to make an electrical connection and custom fit the bracket.

Electrical connection parts needed:
1 x 12527549033 Plastic Socket Housing
4 x 61138366245 Rubber sealing grommets
4 x 12527545858 Individual Socket Pins

For the bracket, I used the stock bracket, used a grinding wheel to shape it better and then used a T-Bolt clamp to fix the pump to it(You will just have to flatten out a slanted edge of the bracket for the clamp to sit flushly on). I also cut the rubber dampening material off the stock pump and put it around the CW50 under the clamp. I don't know what size the T-Bolt clamp was though sorry, maybe 4"? It was just a spare I had.

The last thing is I had to use a new piece of about of 3/4" heater hose about 6 inches long on the pump suction. The stock pre-bent heater hose may work but I went with a different heat exchanger at the same time and mine didn't.

Here is a major thread with tons of good HX pump info: https://mbworld.org/forums/w211-amg/...w-about-5.html

I also custom mounted this heat exchanger at the same time: http://www.frozenboost.com/water-to-...er-p-1026.html
It over twice as thick as the stock unit, and a couple inches taller as well, but it was a pain in the *** to come up with mounts for it.

Yeah, definitely. Unfortunately I don't have any before/after because I bought the car with a broken IC pump. But so far I haven't seen an IAT reach 140°, mid 130s is the highest ive seen on my WOT pulls and my cruising is about 15 above ambient. This is in 95-100° Nevada desert OA temps.

This is great info thanks! Good to know for hot Philippine temps.

Are you running any mods on your motor?

All stock, with the exception of the pump, heat exchanger, and throttle body shaft grind.

Is it ok to run the car with the pulley installed and a stock ECU? Reason I ask is while I wait for the Tune file to be sent to me and until I find the time to install the tune, I will be able to install the pulley ahead of the tune. Is this ok? or should I do both at the same time?

Everyone will recommend a tune file at the same time as the pulley install, and that is the safe thing to do. I think you ordered the 84mm upper clutched pulley? I didn't get much gains with that and a custom tune at the same time, think it was around 15rwhp, but then again I am up altitude. If you have to install the pulley and drive before installing a tune, I can only say drive it very mildly, ie: don't go boosting it, if you have the discipline, understand the risk you taking.

Eurocharged swears (I asked them today) that they sell a lot of mods that require a tune but pulleys aren't one of them.
