Looks like I found an E55 for me
I have been a member of the forum for a little over a month now. I did a lot of research because I loved the E55. I started looking for one about a week or so ago........ I got in touch with Skratch77 and it looks like I will be buying his car next week. I am very excited!!! Wanted an AMG for a while now. Anyway, the car will be moving down to Northern Va (about 20 min from DC) to be with its new owner soon. Just wanted to say hey to everyone and introduce myself.

I remember him offering his car to me and it seemed well modded and knowing what everything cost, it seems to be a good deal. I just didn't want anything modded that much but if it goes through then congrats to both of you.

I've spent some time with that car and Angelo, he's a good dude and it is a nicely modded car...fast as hell too! I'd get used to the power before I touched anything, and be careful...that car could easily get you in trouble. Angelo, whatcha buying?

Thanks for getting all the warranty work done for me!!!! Cant wait to pick the beast up. Geez Angelo you had the M3 just like me, Im buying your e55 and then you are buying my favorite car next. lol Maybe I will pick that one up from you in a few years. Gonna have some fun with this e55 first:-)

Congrats, hope all goes well with the deal! Skratch, 996's are good platforms that can be had on the cheap if you look in the right places. I'm quite familiar and have rebuilt and done maintenance on many P cars. Stay with the turbo/GT series if you can. Way more fun. Let me know if you have any questions.

My friend has about 4 P-cars ahead of me and we are trying to get my car done asap.We changed the voltage regulator today and it fixed the no charge and red warning there car was getting and its reading 14 volts running like it should,its crazy how little things go bunk just from sitting a few months as when I stored it the car was running fine.
Im going to try and get you new engine mounts(not that it needs them)new valve covers,rear main seal done,2 keyless door handles and a new supercharger clutch.
I Installed brand new pilot super sports 2 days before I stored it so you have fresh tires up front and the rears have a summer left in them.After driving it today I almost don't want to part it but the time has come and I will miss this car and happy that someone that will app it like I did will get it.
The car is setup so perfect and is at the very max for safety and reliability and I would not touch the tuning or boost and leave it as is and just enjoy the car,theres no check engine lights and the car runs just like a stock 55.I still think to this day that the max safe power on these cars is right around 500-520whp and anything after that is just asking for it.

Thanks guys. The main thing I would like to do in the first few months is a nice set of wheels and maybe lower it a little bit on links.... I will do some more research on the forum first for this and ask plenty of questions. Probably tint the windows, rear diffuser, front lip, and just enjoy the car:-) This car will be my DD.
The M3 isnt sold yet. I still need to put it up for sale. Havent driven it in 6 months. It should sell fast, not really worried about it.

Oh and maybe some eurocharged mufflers... Not really for performance, just like a deep throaty sound
