Now I see, I thought you meant post 12 on this thread. I get it...how long have you had it now? I can order it from that site or do you think I can have my buddy order it through his parts house?
Looks like I probably have to order it after seeing the site. What is the 15lb battery that the guy mentions on that other thread? Any idea? Prolly go with the one that you have and be done. Did it fir properly in the bat. box or do I need to do slight mod to it. Thanks for th info.

What's the AmpHr and CCA rating on our stock batteries? I remember some Japanese company called Shorai made an excellent Li replacement batteries for motorcycles.
Looks like their largest "motorcycle" battery offers 36 Ah and 540 CCAs at just under 5 lbs.

I also mentioned that I would rather just run a local guy who had gone to the track and just run from a roll, in a safe place, just to get an idea of power and then compare.
My final weight will only be maybe 80-100lbs less I am guessing but I will weigh what was removed and give that tally. My car has few options so it is lighter to start with. I actually think that my car has no options! lol
I will look into the batteries tomorrow.

Late next Monday night (April 1st) fly in to Jax. I bet seeing these times/traps Gadget is doing on stock engine at 17psi has you all pumped for a built engine soon with more to gain. I can't wait to compare the stock engine setup though, hope I don't get spanked to bad lol.

Kleeman headers, no cats, stock resonator removed but some aftermarket cylindrical shaped resonators in then magnaflow mufflers. It is a little loud when lugging but not bad on the highway, then when you get on it, it is real loud. Other than that, I have supercharger pulley and 80mm throttle body with the shaft grinded a little, Eurocharged heat exchanger and under hood coolant tank like 1.5 gallon in size with EC tune on 550cc injectors. Need to get it redynoed and tune adjusted since the supercharger pulley was a recent change after going back to stock crank pulley from a 180 and just had Jerry flash on the can tune for the supercharger pulley.

It sounds sick and many people have told me the same while at the track and even after parking when they see me drive through a parking lot. Mostly surprised a Mercedes can sound like it does is what they say. It certainly is loud though while wide open. You can hear it well from the end of the track so I am told. But it isn't even close to Redbulljnky loud haha
His is Nascar loud.

Maybe we should all race to see the difference between a stage 3, a Wiestec, and a Rage-Tek tt E55. That would be some crazy sh*t!

Do you think it is something I can get from my parts warehouse? I will check in the morning of course but if I can save my parts guy some time for looking then I will just order one.

Lol it's one of the most common batteries in the country. And to answer your other question, the ARH longtubes weigh probably twice the stock manifolds, since the stock is hollow double wall stainless and very small in dimension. But the entire exhaust as a whole is signifigantly lighter with the removal of the cats and resonators.

I would say, go spend some time with your family and girlfriend and on your way back up we should be good. We can party first then after.

Obviously it is self explanitory, I will just call the parts warehouse and see what they have. I thought that we needed a special amount of cranking amps, etc etc. I guess calling the battery place kinda scarred me a little as they told me that we needed x amount of this and x amount of that etc. Thanks for the help guys...will get a light battery tomorrow.

[QUOTE=RedBullJnky;5589744]I'll sell you mine. I don't need it anymore. Let me know. I believe its the 15lb Braille. I've used this on the street plenty of times. I've also roamed the streets on Q16 and In full race mode.

I've done the following so far:
-Removed spare, jack, wrench, etc.
-Removed lastics/bellypan under engine and trans
-Removed metal brace under exhaust (near center of car)
-Removed secondary cats and resonator
-Installed HRE 590R 19" wheels
Planning to do lightweight rotors and installing Eisenmann sport mufflers on in the coming weeks. Also, some sort of lighter battery like the Shorai in my KTM motorcycle. At the drags, I'll be running no more than 1/4 tank of fuel.
