While the name calling and insults are concerning I'm more disturbed that members had to read through another GTR vs XXX thread.

Edit - can be had for GT-R prices!
I don't know about being as moddable but I'd take the 911 any day.

A$$ clown pertains to any race, it is not race specific. Go back to school moron.

Does anyone know how the GTRs are holding up with some real miles on them? I always looked at them as a toy/trying to be an exotic type of car. Seems like all the electical gee-golly-wizardry would start having big problems and cost wheelbarrows of cash to repair. This was just my opinion as a guy thats been around cars quite a bit for about 15 years now. How many people are actually driving these daily and have say 40-50-60k+ miles on them now? I live in chicago and work downtown managing a number of parking garages that draw just about every car you could name and I have seen exactly 1 GTR, ever.

I find it interesting that you were more concerned that readers "had to read through another GTR vs XXX thread." I thought the whole point of a forum like this was so you could read and respond to the posts that you were interested in and simply skip over the rest??? Although I also was surprised at the insults and name calling, I really do appreciate all of the constructive comments and feedback.

^ Sorry but I guess my post was not interpreted as I had hoped (in jest). Our members are generally adults so they deserve to treated that way. I could have passed out infractions and/or closed this thread but I was hoping an absurd post would diffuse the tempers.

Got the CTS-V

Well, I purchased a new deeply discounted 2012 CTS-V. Really happy with my decision. I'm surprised how similar it feels to my E55. As far as the interior debate: overall, the interior is definitely nicer than my '03 E55. Now, I'm looking forward to mods. I will be doing the 21st Century Muscle Cars 720+ package.http://21stcenturymusclecars.com/200...e-1-1-1-1.aspx

Good choice. You're gonna LOVE modding an LS motor based car. Tons and tons you can do with it. The skybreally is the limit. Well the sky, and how deep into your pockets you want to reach.

Nice choice. What color? Automatic?

These cars are fast stock but they really wake up once modded. That's a nice package from 21stcenturymusclecars. You may want to add a heat exchanger to that package because your IAT2's will skyrocket once you add boost.

Have you ever been to ctsvowners.com? Plenty of good info and people there. They will help you spend your money.

It's a Crystal Red automatic. The + part of the 720+ includes a heat exchanger, increased capacity intercooler res, and a spacer, which John at 21st said has been producing about 770hp based on the rwhp numbers in the mid 600s.

I haven't been to ctsvowners.com, but I have been to:http://www.cadillacforums.com/forums...es-forum-2009/
Thanks for the tip, I'll have to try that one out too!

Cool, I have the same color. I'm PetroCTS-V on both forums but I spend most of my time at ctsvowners.com

A couple of V owners have used 21st and had nothing but great things to say about them.
