I should be posting these in the w219 forum....but as you all know, the w219 AMG forum is as dead as Hoffa.......so, here you go?

My best is 178.5. Check engine light on the entire time. Going to get a DashQ to stop the guessing game next time......

Going to do it again this year, but do things a little different the second time around. Mishaps and mistakes cost me better times.

The CLS63 in the pics are of our boy fn3423. Cool azz fellow. A laid back bloke and straight shooter. Genuine.

Nicely done. 178 is a great speed. Did you do this with your clk63 or cls55?
I only achieved about 170 with tune C63 in Miami with a good wind.
What mods do you have and what speed did fn3423 do?

Congrats! Great mph. Would you have time to meet up sometime so I can check out your engine bay tank?

Congrats on the 178!

I'm sure everybody has heard about the KP Racing (formerly Late Model Racecraft), Camaro. Can't believe that guy wasn't really hurt. I think I read just a concussion and minor injuries and I think he even walked out of the hospital the next day. It got out of shape around 220mph and he couldn't recover. They were looking for 280mph this year, if memory serves. Yay, safety!

Very good time. I plan to attend one of the mike events next year. Not sure which one it will be but I'd sure like to get into the 200mph club.

Man, he was all over the track a few times during this Texas Mile. Something wasn't right....and everyone knew it. They pushed it because the Ford GT took the world record on Saturday.

That would be cool. The 1200+hp to get it might be the problem, though.

We're you able to keep some cabin filter capability?

I've stayed away from meth from day one. Now, on the other hand, crack-cocain.......

I'm sure warmer than the asscrack of a 500lb marathon runner

lol. I was telling everyone it was milk injected at the Texas Mile. The look on their faces was priceless. A few minutes in explaining (the ones who didn't know any better) how it works better with skim milk then whole, people were both intrigued AND confused.

You have to remove the cabin filter box for it to fit.....permanently. I cut a piece from a good home a/c filter and made it work with the filter bracket option available ($50)

Only problem I have is the noise of the water in the tank while you are driving. Working on wrapping it with insulation.

Get it. It's worth it.

1,200? Where did you come up with that number? With that much power he'd be wayyy above 200 flat.

Annnnd... What? No one theorized the Camaro may not handle that sort of top end too nicely? The shock in that is shocking. Kind of like when the Lion eats his trainer. Lion didn't go crazy...
