Maybe if he hadn't of power shifted that 5-6 gear change, it wouldn't have got all crazy at 220
I'm just playing of course, but try and grasp the strain that clutch is under when performing under those conditions. 2000ish HP, the load of a 200 mph wind on the car, and then shifting to what could be anything from a .50-.80 overdrive, as much as doubling the load on the engine again. That's a hell of a clutch.

lol. Where did you get yours? I think your math is off. We drive couches, bro. Not light weight supercars. 1000+ hp SL's are running it at 191 mph. Physics in the real world are different from those physics in Need For Speed.....

The owner should trade in his current 1000+hp for a real 1000+hp.

That is awesome! I think aerodynamics are on your side over our CLS's and E's. Many factors are at play, at those speeds, as you would know. The question is what would it take for it to hit 200 mph? The cars that were near our weight (3900+lbs) at the Texas Mile were using 1100+ hp to achieve the 200 mph mark. @1200 hp would be a safe figure to achieve a 200 mph mile @4100+lbs car with less then perfect aerodynamics.....

Doesn't take 1200hp to go 200 in the mile. There's been some 650hp corvettes that have gone 200 I believe. The E55 is very slippery so I think 700hp will get you close with our weight.

Wrong. Stock ZR1's are running the mile @ my times. Besides, I'm in the upper 600's right now. You guys need to quit assuming and check the facts. Exotic-metal55's car is over 700hp and was in the low 180's....

Are you quoting HP at the crank? The ZR1 in the video isn't even making 600rwhp. The rest of us are all talking about Rear Wheel HP.
