New replicas, love em!
Just put these on a few days ago and so far so good......totally love the look and feel and actually purchased through Discount Tire so feeling a bit better about service than a mail order purchase....
Did the Continental DWS 245/35-19 and 275/30-19

hmm.... Ok so I just need to find a shop in the greater Seattle area that does this then. I checked with Barrier in Bellevue and they say no no no dont do it but they would give it a shot if i brought them instructions on how to do it? Said if i do it that it would also require an alignment job $169 + a couple hours to lower it so I'm thinking like $500? They actually recommended the shimming at the sensors that a lot of guys on the forum here is crazy to do....
Anyone in Seattle area done this with Star for cheaper and do you really need an alignment?

There is a guy in Bellevue that can do it. Look up
Mercedes Centrum,
12700 Bel Red Rd # 8, Bellevue, WA 98005
(425) 454-2680
ask for Russell
Also, Lynwood Mercedes does their alignment for for 10bux cheaper than your quote. Be prepared for extra if your thinking of going lower, but if your just getting rid of gap, you will not need extra parts at mercedes to fix the alignment closer to spec.

Got it dropped now too
Update...... I took it to Russell at Mercedes Centrum in Bellevue and lowered me via Star. I didnt want to slam it cuz I'm a family guy and I commute 100 miles a day in it but I think it got a nice tasteful drop to it.

Update on the replicas....
Have put 10k miles so far and the wheel is solid from a structural standpoint. Only issue is the polished lip clear coat is flaking off. They replaced no problem at all, under warranty, the rear wheels which showed the first signs of flaking. Now all 4 wheels are flaking the clear coat at the polished lip really bad.
I'm confident they would replace yet again under warranty but I'm looking for a more long term solution. A specialist said this is pretty typical for replicas and recommended removing the clear coat and polishing the aluminum which would require regular maint or have it powder coated to match the rest of the wheel. I love the wheel so I'll likely go one of these two directions but that costs another $150/wheel so something to factor in when looking at replicas.....still much more cost effective than factory but just a PIA since they are already mounted.

How do you like the ride on 19s compared to stock?
I'm this l.l close to ordering but I don't really want a harsher ride.
19s look waaaaay better though.

You will be denied warranty on those wheels. They will say you used harsh chemicals on the lip and will laugh. If I were you just have the lips painted silver, much cheaper. Maybe 300 for all 4?

Damn. NEVER use wheel cleaner sprays on aftermarket wheels. Only use soap, water, quick detail spray, and a lot of elbow grease! If you want extra protection, grab some Wheel Wax and throw it on them. That's it.
Don't ask me how I learned this when I was younger...
IMO, find a good polishing shop and have them polish out the lip. They'll look better than they did the day you bought them. Just invest in some Mother's aluminum polish to keep them looking shiny.

I never had an issue with the ride at all going to 19 over the 18's.
Warranty issue had me worried as well so as I mentioned I purchased through discount tire so warranty was their issue not mine. That wheel is a specific look and I was obsessed with it so certainly a replica with out the polished lip might make more sense or pay to have it removed when you get it...... But then again the price point after that work might make something else more attractive.
Still love the wheels..... I'd buy them again but have them fixed up right prior to mounting.
