2013 Audi S6 Caught at the local drag strip
not really a Audi fan but, there's no Denying that car is sick. Would have got the lp-700 instead if we're talking UGR

I work for a major parts house and all I can say about VW is steer clear. Audi we don't see many problems with but the whole range of VWs are a pain in the *** to work on. They have about 5 different engines, 6 different 'families' of those engines, four different variations of displacement and then the prices of most of the parts for this huge range of engines are astronomical. Good looking cars and great when they are running but heaven help you if you need after warranty work done on them, seriously.
Now Audi: Nicer and nicer looking cars these days but honestly guys, most of our kids are more creative on design.
A4 nice looking car, lots of drivetrain choices, decent quality.
A6 slightly larger wheelbase and wider, but same car ^
A8 slightly larger wheelbase and wider but same car ^^
A5 missing 2 doors but same car ^^^
R8 thank God we bought Lambo so someone could make a different car.
Not being an MB fanboy here, there are tons of great cars out there.
TBH on a reliability purchase I wouldn't buy anything but a Nissan. Many years in this industry and I can still count on 2 hands how many times we have sold parts for one of them. The damn things are tough.

E55 w/ goods, Z32 Project underway
Test drove a few Audi's 6-7 months ago, very impressed overall, did not care much for the pop up GPS screen (too IS300ish), but everything else was spot on.

Someone asked about DA on those runs. If you look at the start of the video there's a web address for the dragstrip painted on the wall. It's in Montgomery, AL. The date on the runs was 2/17/2013 by the timeslips at the end which he corrected under the date printed on them. I've never seen a timeslip with the correct date. I do the same thing on mine, the ones in Dallas are off by 3 days. Assuming the run time is correct of 3:55pm you can look up the weather data for that date and time and location and come up with -700 DA.

The one at moroso I'm not sure the exact time of the run, but its after dark so somewhere between -200 and -600 da.

Well, I read a little on the 2013 S6 after seeing this thread and you guys doubting the times it put out, and Car & Driver mentioned about the car having a launch control on it....anyone else see this?
