Just for fun, Eisenmann Sport on W211 55
I'm selling my Eisenmann Sport exhaust and I decided to make a quick vid of the set up. I can watch the vid and remember the best years I shared with the beast..

So sick!
It's weird, thought I grew out of my exhaust stage. Up until recently I couldn't understand how people would deliberately make their 55 sound like this.
Now I am so craving an exhaust note that announces to the world " get the f out of my way or get eaten" LOL
Of course I might grow tired of it quickly....and then there is always the wife and the neighbors. Ah screw em!
Is there drone or annoying nvh?

What are you asking for the eisenmann setup? I had the eisenmann race exhaust on my RS6 and loved it... Would love to have it on the 55 as well...

There are two types of Eisenmann, correct? Sport v Race version? (I know there was for the BMW M cars).
Also, is the vid for your car just the Eisenmann mufflers or have you done anything else to the exhaust system?

I'm interested in your feedback as I also have headers (no cats, stock resonator). These are the ideal mufflers when it comes to sound and looks. I may have to bite the bullet and get a new set. I just can't get myself to like the connected oval tips of the Meisterschaft.

I'll post up some impressions and vids once I get them installed. I didn't care for the oval connected Meisterschaft tips either, but I believe they also offer non-connected tips. I don't think you can go wrong with Eisenmann, Meistershaft or SuperSprint. I wanted CLS55 or E63 mufflers, but these came up so I jumped on them.

to the kind words guys. Yeah the mufflers are sold and hopefully the new buyer will enjoy them as much as I did these past years. My wife chewed me out this morning when I told her I was selling them. Not because she likes them but because she knows that it's the only mod on my car that I truly love. She made me change my mind a couple times but a deal's a deal. "And a roll's a roll and a toll's a toll. And if we don't get no toll's, we don't eat no roll's." <-------name that movie
Oh well, time to move on..

Is it just mufflers or do you have other parts as well? (i.e headers, deleted resonators etc).
Does anybody have the Race version Eisenmann? Curious how much louder that is in comparison. I like my cars tame while cruising and loud as possible when WOT.

The thing you will realize once you put a "quality" exhaust on your car is that your foot is always buried. Every chance you get you will want to open it up and hear that insanity of a motor.
