Very loud exhaust noise under boost?

Very loud exhaust noise under boost?
Ok so I have a cracked exhaust manifold that I'm having fixed soon and under a bit of throttle it makes a fluttering air sound and when I floor it it's obviously louder than stock.
But something happened yesterday, I hit it in 2nd and was taking off and then all of a sudden this SUPER LOUD exhaust sound comes out of nowhere as if my entire exhaust came off and I was running open headers or something. I immediately stopped to check everything out and nothing is visually wrong any more than already was. When I went to drive again the exhaust sound was back to "normal" with only the fluttering sound. Then I slowly rose to something like 2100rpm in 2nd while driving and once the supercharger kicked on there is that extremely loud exhaust sound again...
Anyone know what is happening or where this sound is coming from? It's as if the car has cutouts that instantly flip open when the supercharger engages..

Another crack? Yeah that's what I figure 
Trying to determine where it may also be cracked now based on it only becoming loud when the supercharger engages..

Yeah I am fixing or replacing the exhaust manifolds ASAP. But this new sound has me worried.. is there some kind of exhaust outlet that only functions under boost?
