Lets talk about that. That is the ARP bolt, which is or is not TTY?
The OEM bolt is absolutely TTY. For many, OEM is the way they can trust it will work, as before anyone takes the pulleys off, they don't seem to have as many problems.
I was going to go with the ARP bolt but my new pulley came with a TTY bolt. I am not completely fond of TTY bolts they work but always nervous bout them, personally id prefer a bolt thats stronger and go to a set torque spec but I decided to go with what the crank pulley manufacturer wanted to use.
Okay. That is some concern with the difference, as The OEM bolt is noted as a one time use bolt. It is TTY and the documentation says to replace it. Seems some risk in moving to the ARP (outside of your success).
Seemed relevant to me he was accused of being a sensitive kid. The fact hes a hardened war veteran from the war spanning birth year is a strong indicator he is not. I imagine he can cash in the credit for his service where and how he sees fit. Seems like a good reason beyond him being a nice guy to be respectful.
I find it amusing when people whinge about the new generations. We reap what we sow and if my kids and their mates arent perfect I'll know who to blame...myself and my mates.
