Weistec CLK55
I figured I'd start a new thread on my CLK55 project with a Weistec blower. It will be the first na 55 to run the Weistec setup. It has required quite a few modifications so far to fit and there may be some more things needed. The car should be finished up fairly soon and i will try to get some numbers posted so everyone can see the results. The motor itself is bone stock...for now. We want to see what thus motor can handle before the real fun begins. I have beefed up everything behind the engine as well. Fingers crossed we don't run into any more issues and i will get it to the track asap. All parts should be in my hands by tomorrow evening. the w208 clk is one of the lightest Mercedes platforms. Stay tuned...

Targeting between 10-12psi but we will see.
I was running 10psi with ported heads on the klee setup
Haha, taken care of. 1500hp axles with broached hubs and even threw in a carbon fiber driveshaft, bigger diff, solid diff mounts and solid"flex"discs

Hell ya!
It's weird, this morning I was just randomly thinking about Weistec (jrcarts beasts for example), and asked myself if anyone's put a Weistec on a 55na or the 500? I know a few guys did the kleeman but I was going to look into this. Very cool you are blazing the trail, can't wait for more info.
Good Luck!

Hopefully! Thanks for the support!
Thanks to Bruce for the double idler pulley
Thanks!
I used to have the kleemann blower but this one is bigger and should make more power. Jrcart has alot more power than i will make with stock motor
Me either! Trust me, i will take it to the track when it's ready
I will update with pics and stuff when i have some more time to sit down.
I'm hoping it will be ready for the 1/4 soon. It's so hot already though
Thanks for sending me those pulleys bro!! i dunno if i will be able to do that with stock motor but maybe in the future. Unless you meant your car!

Good Luck Ahmad!
Glad to see new life under the hood...
Edit: I'm also very curious to see if your 60' drops by the advertised up to 2 tenths? (W/new CF Driveshaft) That alone is worth the price of admission. Lastly what'd it weigh vs your stock Drive Shaft?
