Thanks
Thanks its been a while.
I seriously doubt that claim. That would put me at 1.3x 60' without the other mods. Too bad i won't have a before and after. Maybe i will test that later down the road. Believe it or not it weighs about the same as stock with all the ends and everything.
Thanks me too!
Thanks!!
Thanks.
Hmm I'm guessing around 3650 but i will put it on a scale when done
NA motor.
Should be fun!
Thanks
Had to finish what i started
Its full weight with the exception of a cf hood and volk wheels. The axles, SC, trunk reservoir, heat exchanger etc actually end up making it more than full weight. It has sick seats and battery for now. I'm guessing 3650 but i will put it on the scales. Maybe lighten it up if i get close to records lol
Thanks
That's way off.
Hey Acid, thanks!

What an incredible build....
Lots of luck Ahmad, cant wait to see/read about your success!
Predicted future mods:
Forged pistons, lower compression, and turn up the boost...

Got some parts in today so going to wrench on it in a couple hours. If nothing pops up I'm not stopping until it starts

3,600 sounds more like it though.

Thatd be awesome if it weighed that much, or if it were even possible to get it that light and still resemble a street car. Even a C5 Z06 is only down in the 3100 range, and that's with thin glass, low sound deadening amounts, light wheels/brakes, fixed roof, titanium exhaust...

I've been down the extreme wgt reduction road with a past project....... basically remove any sound deadening, bracketry in the doors/underhood/underdash/trunk etc..... then put carpet/trim over top, lw drag wheels, lw battery, lw seats, rear seat delete with custom cover, manual rack/p steering...... at the end of the day it was really fun to drive a 1/4 of a mile at a time..... but that was a about it. Removing the sound deadening really changed the character of the car from daily driver to tin-can echo box.

Up and running already!!! Very nice. Not as if you didn't blast it out of the hole before, but I can only imagine with the beefed up axles and gears. There has to be a bit more confidence, assuming tires stick. You better start doing some curls so you can hang on the the steering wheel!!!

Thanks. Still needs a tune and I'm sure some things will pop up along the way. If i get a new file today i will take it for first drive. Right now it idles in the 9s afr and just cuts off. Going from stock injectors to huge ones needs a big adjustment lol. I think stock on clk is 298cc and Weistec provides 750cc i believe
