Got on the dyno today.....not all good news

Went out this morning to run and see where she is currently putting down. Run conditions were 87°F with 26% humidity on a dynojet. Ran the car at operating temp since I showed up a little late. I did also notice when I showed up that my pump finally took a dive so I'm sure my IAT's were out the roof.

With all that said I put down 439rwhp and 481rwtq.
Current mods being EC injectors, looped rail, EC long tube headers 82mm tb, and SC pulley. Also on a box tune set for everything except the headers. A little disappointed but I'm sure with the new pump, H/E, and dyno tune should see good improvement.

You should see over 500 whp when healthy.

And shouldn't the torque be close to 600rwtq with those mods?

EDIT: I see SC pulley and not crank. Still? Should be 100+rwtq more, no?

Yes just SC pulley for now. Not sure about 600 though seems a little high. Can't wait to get it all right and see some big numbers.

I just dynoed recently on a dynojet and have Kleeman headers with no cats and supercharger pulley along with an 80mm throttle body with the shaft grinded down. I run the old red Eurocharged injectors. I had a tune flashed and noticed a good bit of black smoke from exhaust when getting on it.

When we did the first dyno run the air/fuel jumped down to 10:1 so clearly way to rich. I also only hit 444whp and temps were in the upper 70s. I contacted Jerry sending him the dyno graph and he adjusted the tune and we loaded a new one with the new Euro-Flash V2 software. This run was done about 20-25 minutes later and the car did 473whp and then we did another run 1-2 minutes later and it did 478whp then finally again one last run 1 minute later and it did 472whp. These were with Correction set to "uncorrected" and smoothing 5.

Jerry said the car should adapt some with driving (100 miles or so) and the power could go up slightly so I am going to dyno again soon out of curiousity even though the weater is going to be in the upper 80s now most likely.

So I would say to you, look in the mirror and see if you are dumping a ton of fuel (lots of black smoke) when you go from cruising to punching the throttle or just a small amount. Mine like I said was putting out a pretty good cloud behind me until the tune was adjusted to run in the upper 11s. Jerry said the tune has usually been pretty good with the initial flash but I guess some cars need some tweaking and mine picked up over 30whp.

Looks inline for your current situation. If you want big tq numbers, add a 180mm cp

yes it is running very rich and does produce black smoke but my box tune is not even correct right now due to some complications so I will be taking care of that this next week along with my new pump.

The 180 CP is in the plans once I finish my cooling setup and get my slicks. Planning to probably add the CP and Meth at the same time
