Looking at a 2006 e55 to purchase. What should I be looking for?

But yes, search helps. There are soooo many little gremlins that can ruin your day on these cars. I've only had mine a week and I already see that.

It's all about service history with these cars.
Check rear main seal and head gaskets for leaking.
Get logging equipment so you can check intake temps to insure the cooling system is working.
Plugs should have been changed.
Brakes should have been flushed.
Transmission fluid should have been replaced (NOT FLUSHED)

Oh, and one more thing: you may be getting a steal but remember the upkeep still resembles a $100k car.
