Man, this issue really pisses me off. I've read about the "gas tank issues" on here for over the year that I've had it and think the other day I was smelling that gas smell inside my car. It was about 105 degrees here in Phoenix and I'm pretty sure something was amiss... Hasn't happened again though and that was the only time... I really don't want to deal with this

Sorry to rehash an old thread. But, how did you know there was a fuel delivery problem? Lean condition after 5500 rpm? Wow that's really bad.

Was it just the melted wires to the fuel pump?
