Big thanks to Ted and his crew at M-Power Houston for taking my car in last minute and having the car done ASAP!! I've been having AirMatic issues for quite some time. Finally the rear completely went out and Shardul and Ted convinced me to go ahead and pull the trigger on the coilovers. I decided to go with D2 Coilovers, and I am extremely happy with them. Thank you again Ted I couldnt have been happier with your service A++!!

I raise and lower my car so much I just couldn't do this. I have to raise the car to get in my driveway and then of course ride with it lower most of the time, so to me I am thankful for the air suspension and the ability to raise/lower. Until that dreadful day comes which I hope doesn't when it leaves me stranded with a full deflation.

I would like to see how low it is, wonder if it's d same height as when you have the car in sport 2 mode , because I feel I might pull the trigger veryyyyy soon , already looking at the D2 and the prices are nice , plus I rarely ever use the raising and lowering ,

It's as high or as low as he wants it, within reason. I really like the comfy ride this car has, but would switch to this in a second if its not too harsh and saves weight. Nice work!

also when you load the car with people airmatic keeps everything sitting how it should. coilovers obviously can't do this, +1 to air.

Really?? ^^^ I didn't know that...so let me get this straight. I my car gets loaded with people and watch it drop from outside...when I get in and start driving, will it raise itself to accommodate for the extra weight? If no, I've never noticed mine do that when I've gotten out the car. Hmmm...spooky...

It's always trying to keep the car at the proper level via the sensors, so yes if you load the car up it'll increase the air to the bags to make up for the extra load.

^^ This

and yeah, the ride is so comfy with Air Ride. OP post up your impression regarding the ride quality. Be extremely honest, even if you don't like it let us know. I hope you like it though so it is worth every penny spent.

I only drive in Sport 1 or 2 when I'm on the highway and what not but I guess with coilovers the car will always feel like one of that setting eh ?

Well some people like the AirMatic and some like good ol' fashion Coils. If I could only explain how great the handling is... I will keep everyone posted.

I would love to have coilovers, but like others I just can't give up the raising and lowering ability of airmatic.

Kauve, give us a mother-effing update! Ride quality? I know houston has some roads that looked like Baghdad circa 1993. Rattled my fillings... wait, I don't have any of those. Rattled my teeth on my airmatic suspension with 18"s, and that's with the nicer '06 suspension.

How long did it take Ted and his crew to do it? I'd guess 15 minutes. Those dudes are seriously fast.

4 Months in and I absolutely love it. The ride is smooth, a little stiffer but not a huge difference. Power sliding/ drifting is a lot easier to control through corners. I cant wait to get her on the track.

Ted had this done in one day, took the car in the morning and had it the same day before they closed.

To sum it up, I love my conversion and will give rides to any members that would like to feel how it is.
