You might get another 40whp out of them but I agree the oem turbo should be pretty much maxed out on pump gas ( race gas may allow for 35psi if the turbo can handle it ). The beauty of this is that you can always just swap out the turbo for a larger unit and make 100whp more at the same boost pressure.

Yes, you should trade your 99 FRC because the C7 is clearly a better car. But newer doesn't always mean better.

When the naturally aspirated E63 came out in 2007, there was no way I would have traded my supercharged E55 for the new 2007 E63...Duh.

The 2014 E63 is a game changer. That was my point. And yes, it's time to sell the FRC since Hyundai makes a 13 second car now.

This car is bad arrss - If it's like other AMG's and depreciates like a sinking ship I'll wait at least years and pick one up.
The tuners are going get some big HP out of the TT, and I like the idea of all wheel drive.

A Sub-section will be added to the AMG E class, for the Gangster grocery getter.

I agree, and felt the same way about the C6 (std, not Z06) I always thought they looked kinda femme, and are the same car under the skin as the C5. The engines are a little better but no one except the golf geezers leave the engines stock anyways.in fact I live in a country club neighborhood with at least seven corvettes within a ten house radius and one of the late sixty year old golf geezers is a cool old hot fodder who has his blown C5 in the mid tens.

The C7 , just like this AWD AMG, is a reason to get worked up over new cars again. I said it before, both are home runs.

But although my C5 will destroy any stock C6 including a ZR1, or the C7, it hasnt left my driveway or garage in three years because its Candy Pink. I built it for my Ex-Wife and when we split she didnt want it so there it sits...I'm trying to find time to repaint it a difefrent color and put a milder engine in it so I can find it a new home.
