I guess I can try trading the E55 and get the wheels and grill for this car lol
btw I think that the sharp front end like E63 W211 has , the sharp edge , would've done wonders for this car.

That car looks awesome and will be a game changer in the performance sedan market! I don't know how strong this 4matic drivtrain will be, but if it is up to the task (Side Note: Only time will tell though. I personally would not be one the first guinea pigs to throw a tune on it with out seeing ample examples of the drivtrain holding up first.) a performance tune will put this car on a level that only the most souped up cars or exotics can touch. If it makes sense for you and you can afford, do it! You only live once brotha!

This car will be able to go toe-to-toe with a stock 2013 GTR/911 turbo from a dig. It may loose, but it will not be by much. A simple ReNNtech/Eurocharged/AMS or whatever tune will push this thing to about 0-60 in 2.7-3.0 and 1/4 miles in the 10.5-10.9 range @ like 128mph + on street tires.
Stock this thing will likely run 11.3-11.5 stock @ like 125mph

I guess I might as well skip stage 1 and go to skip 3 to compete with this beast! I don't think I would have a chance from a low speed roll or dig with lack of traction.

I agree C5s (Z06/FRC bubble top in particular) are really fun cars and ridiculously easy to make fast, but it pales in comparison to a new C7 in every way except price and modability, just like a W211 compared to the yet to be released AWDE63.
These things are going to be BeastV2.0, I can't wait to drive one!

GASPAM: I agree with you 100%! I think this car will still get lots of wheel spin if you floor it from 0-10mph, but the difference is the car will be going in one direction more controllably with some tail out action as opposed to getting the car side ways with to much throttle. I like smoking the tires, but I'll take all wheel drive any day for its control and faster acceleration. AWD also offers a bit of a safety net when the car is tuned. The only issue I can see is the car blowing all the tires at high speeds and the car just hovering the ride somewhat uncontrollably because of the power.

I miss my frc I just couldn't get over the fit/finish issues. The c7 seems to of finally fixed this. I may buy another frc for a track car though.
Oh and the awd e63 will be the 4 door gtr!

They're great at what they were intended to be. Fast, fun and inexpensive. The fit and finish is a toilet bowl by today's standards but they're also 15 year old Corvettes cars that were under 40k new. Also they were built to be lighter and cheaper than a C5 Coupe with comforts a secondary objective.
The C7 is a grand slam out of the park in my opinion. GM is trying their best to appease the people that demand that the fit, finish and materials be on par with the Exotics that it competes with on a performance level even though it's available for a fraction of the price and offers much better engineering when you account for his long those things last.

2014 cls63 a amg. 2018 AMG GTR
Been looking at these for a while now. Reviews state they get zero wheel spin when flooring it from a stop. Damn that would be nice. My TT Cayenne is fun for the same reason. Just floor it and it goes with no drama even in the rain. I'll wait a couple years for used ones and I will be all over it for around $50K. Turbos are also just so much for efficient and give gobs of topend. No doubt they will be well into 10s with tune only. In fact I'd bet they run 10.5s with a good tune and possibly upgraded IC system on good street tires. Now woudlnt that be awesome in a four door family hauler ?
Not a fan of the new squared quad exhaust. Maybe we could make our tips work on them.

Not to change the subject but what type of performance gain do you all think the CLA45 amg will see with a tune and down pipe upgrade. I read they are putting out 27 pounds of boost stock, so these turbos might be close to max. I also heard the next C63 will get a 4.0TT V8 engine pushing about 500hp stock. I wonder if they will put 4matic on that.
