I was in OC MD thurs.-sat. and it is incredible the amount of cars that were there...I was there for the old car market and to try buy a couple of classics but the turnout of new and old cars was incredible! There had to be 5000 cars and 500,000 people! Just a guess. Spoke to a guy with a ctsv tuned by the guy Jeremy and it made 781 rwhp...pretty impressive. Not many amg's there but every other type of car was there and like 50% mustangs! lol...just kidding... Did a pull or two with some mustangs on the avenue but you could only go from like 10mph to 50mph so pretty much just fun stuff. Most of the newer cars there had some real work done but I hung tough with both guys (pretty much even) and they were quite impressed when I told them that I only had some cold air coming in and a tune. Anyway, I can tell you all this much...I have been to almost every type of car gathering in roughly 6 or 7 different states (old classic car hunting) and this was absolutely unbelievable. Someone should put together a gathering the next time they have this because every car guy has to go to this atleast once!

Hard to explain it all in one paragraph as there was just soooo much going on...not to mention the bars all along the beach with bikinis flying all around, all day and night!

I was there for biz...I didn't even bring a camera. Take a picture in your head...the best car event you have ever been to and multiply it by 10...except Daytona. I heard that is similar to Ocean City.

Looking to see if anyone on this forum was there...maybe they took pics!

Always a big turnout. Ocean City Police Dept is drunk with power though. I bet there were 1000 traffic citations issued....

A 1000 would be extremely conservative!! I almost got popped for big burnout out front of hooters. I was down there in my very loud blueish greenish grayish 08 gmc lowered with a bed full of people

I grew up going there, so I learned my lessons at an early age. I did all the typical stupid kid on a motorcycle stuff, and paid the price down there. The worst being a $505 fine and 5 points, as a 19 year old. Ocean City is a place where driving the speed limit and using your blinker is very wise. I can't imagine how many DWI arrests there were. The DWIs are warranted at least, but OC cops are famous for being very very quick on the draw when turning on the blue lights.

I must have seen 10+ trucks with loads of people in the bed...lol Seems very common down there.

I wish you had pics of the amount of people just at hooters to show these guys...knowing that hooters was only one place out of 50-75 hang-outs that was loaded with people and every car that you could imagine.
