Any AMGs want to do a few friendly pulls in the Boston area? I have an M5 and wold like to see how it stacks up against some AMGs. Low Key of course

 

Skratch77 or E55dimon live in that area, both with an E55. Two off the top of my head.

 

E55 will embarrass you, E63 is slightly slower. most of the guys on here have modded 55s..

Big question, Do you have the E60 or the F10? That could make a bit of a difference....


And please don't tell me its an E39.

Lmao i like the scene on this forum. i know some members probably have heavily modded cars (which i know will kill me) so i would rather run a car with say just bolt ons. It would definitely be much closer. But hey im down for anything ... So yea if you guys know any members that would be down please show them this thread.

Agreed. One of my all time favorite bimmers. I was just speaking performance wise. I'd still love a clean e39 daily.

 

Love the e60 ! Looks really mean. I was so close to getting a 08-09 but fell in love with the torque of e55

 

+1, maintenance is a nightmare thats the only reason i didnt get one. If jesus loves me, ill be able to get a F10 M5 in the future lol

 

ive seen several f10 M5's in my area but none are so far interested to have a go against my SL 55......im not sure if they know yet that there is a difference between a normal AMG and a MBWorldForums AMG......the one modded e60 M5 around me has no desire at all....as soon as i run up against an F10 ill post up my experience, im just curious to see how bad ill get beaten.....how many car lengths will a new M5 or M6 pull on me from zero to 100, and from like say 70 MPH on the highway and gun it up to say 160 or 180 MPH....??

 

I think this M5 will surprise the E55 owners.

If there are any takers, run the E60 in it's element, and start the run around 90mph and up. If he has headers, it will be a good race.

 

My buddy has a E60 M5 with full bolt ons
Headers, exhaust, tune.
Close race was i was pulled away from him.

I love the E39 M5, it would make a for a nice daily driver.
In a few years, i would consider a F10 M5 as a replacement for the E55.

 

in a few years ide consider biturbo amg!

 

I was also torn between the e55 and the M. I fell in love with the V10

I guess we'll all find out if someone wants o have some fun

Dont have headers yet but i do have pretty much everything else. If someone does agree i would like to do runs starting from high up and down low. Although we probably all know what would happen from lower speeds
