--Question about some WOT issue i've been experiencing--

So i had my car re-tuned and all, TB is good no air leaks or anything but sometimes when i go WOT my car goes on limp mode and ESP inoperative comes up and gotta turn the car off and restart it and boom back to normal perfect, smooth idle no check engine no NOTHING... what is this, am trying to figure it out with a few members here... Could it be the TUNE or something?

any thoughts would be appreciated. I just dropped the car off at the dealer to have the tech go through his work and see if there is any air leaks or anything and have him run it through star and reset my TB and all that stuff. I'll keep it posted after i get it back... just an FYI the T/B is OEM of a 2008 CLS550 very low miles and is in perfect, so the TB is GOOD.

its just annoying because if someone tries to race me and i go WOT and that SH!!IT happens that's embarrassing to me lol.... but when that doesn't happen thing pulls like an animal, like a train

i will, and if hes on the forum maybe he can chime in on here and see whats up.... same exact thing happened to another member here he said it was his tune and it got sorted out sooo if all checks out and i do everything and still is than its my tune too

UPDATE***

just got a call from my tech and he said everything is in perfect running order, NO leaks, TB is good the actuator is good ESP is good the rpm sits perfect soo at this point only thing to me would be maybe the tune or something... a friend here mentioned it happend to him as well excatly the same and for him it was the Torque LIMIT in the ECU and he changed the managment to a higher level or w.e and fixed it all... wounder if thats the case with me since i might be close to 600tq as well

at least you have no leak or any major issues. it could be need more fuel with all that hp probably bigger injectors to compensate? just my theory buddy

i dont think that is the issue for it to go into limp mode though... its probably a tune issue

nope nothing stored in, he went through star twice to check he said car has no codes nothing wrong no air leaks or w.e. it runs perfect it idles perfect rides perfect and smooth.... sooooooooo that leaves me doing this lol

its mostly ECU issue,,

After tuned, ECU may try to relearn the percentage of the AFR, its happen sometimes when quantity & density of the air through

the back signal of the mass air,,

that’s may explain why the car goes back to normal when switch off & start again,,

i believe Jerry has a key for that....

Sounds like a poor connection somewhere, start @ the battery and ground lugs. next computer relays and connections.
Main memory power is lost as the car tweaks under full load. The Ecm is resetting itself after a powerdown.
Check engine Light? get us some codes

i just spoke to Jerry he texted me back and knows what it is and will have me retuned tomorw.. He is going to change the TQ managment to a higher let level he said i have to high Trq request.. i really dont know what that means but the man knows his stuff lol soo looks like we got it figured out

Good to hear it's figured out. No star codes, the it's really hard to diagnose. On my CL55, similar issue, ended up being the accelerator assembly.

alright Jerry did it again and got it all fixed up and i thought it was fast but now ohhh boy the TQ is priceless....... no more limp modes nothing, pulls like a frikin train even more than before.. okay nowwwwwwwwwwwwww am happy

you sure did brotha and thank you again.... i still am not sure what that does though, do you have any kind of explenation of what it is and why it did that? i know you said you had the same exact issue and it was the same fix for you too as it was for me...
