Thanks GT-ER! So here are some more cell phone pics of the outside coming together. Still have to smoke the 3rd brake light, install CF rear diffuser, paint chrome trim pieces black, install 3 piece spoiler, remove all badging and replace with new black badges. Also, we have to redo the calipers and valve covers because the powder coating didn't come out like I wanted. And a full detail of the car once all work is done.

Oh and I need to mount my actual license plates on. Nothing like doing a full build on your car with the 30 day tags still on LOL! Here are the plates I got, hope the car lives up to this.

I find em dope ,it's just that here where I live cops "can" give you trouble for blacking out even the reverse lights. So on my ride the reverse are totally clear rest is all blacked out.
You going to paint calipers black too ?

Can you get a cop to escort you while you have some fun?
Before the E55, I had a few cars I owned that I wanted to 'test out'. So I found the nearest county cop, usually younger, and told them what I wanted to do. First, I'd get the
for asking them, then the
and then I'd be
while they would follow behind so other cops wouldn't pull me over.
Not kidding, it has worked twice for me thus far.
Having said that, VA cops are probably the worst in the country. I always drive the speed limit down there, not 1mph over.

Yeah VA cops suck!!! When ever I drive up to MD I always stomp it as soon as I cross the line lol. I have been pulled over for tint, exhaust too loud, not using a signal, etc. they are crazy

I have a college buddy that lives in Landsdowne. Has a neighbor who is a Ffx LEO and dad is a VA State LEO. Both took his 1100hp GTR w/roll cage on the Greenway and hit 160mph and let off. They said it wanted to keep on pulling more and more, but ran out of room on the stretch of the greenway. Couldnt imagine if they got radar'd by LCSD.

The only place they've pulled me over for exhaust being too loud or no front plate (previous cars, C5 Z06 and E39 M5, respectively) were at the airport, both times resulting in tickets; those transportation cops are just as bad as the VA cops, if not worse! The best part is, some of them know cars fairly well and start BSing with you - so you think they're cool and you're in the clear. Then they hand you the citation ... WTF!

They've got stuff you can spray on it that won't affect the heat transfer properties like powder coat will. If you need it blacked out, either do a light coat of satin spray paint, or for best results look into techline coatings heat radiating coating. I have my doubts as to it's real ability to pull heat better than raw copper or raw aluminum, but at least it won't hold it in like paint or powder
