Loudest MUFFLERS ONLY exhaust out there?
I want to swap my mufflers ONLY. I am not planning on deleting the cats, doing headers etc.
What is the loudest mufflers out there for the E55?
Also, is there any torque loss with aftermarket mufflers only? Thanks!

You could just remove them. Lose a little weight/torque gain a little maybe on the top end. Definitely the easiest/cheapest way to go loud. Or if you insist on an exhaust of some sort you could always visit your local exhaust shop and see what they can slap on there for you.

I agree straight pipe the muffler, your power isn't going to change with the factory cats and manifolds still in place. Hell it'll still be pretty reasonably sound wise with all of the factory stuff in front.

I had the meistershaft mufflers with resonator and car delete and it was very loud. If you look at my old threads I have a bunch of videos up.
I was thinking to maybe remove the mufflers myself for straight pipes.

Ideally, I don't want to lose torque. Maybe I should just keep my stock mufflers and delete the resonator/secondary cats and replace with an X-pipe?
Is there any way to NOT lose torque with just mufflers?

You will not lose one ft/lb of torque by straight piping your mufflers. It might seem that way because the gains you will see will be at a higher rpm.

^ No torque loss at all? Doesn't it mess with flow? How much weight savings do you guys think and will there really be an HP increase? I was doing it more so for sound than anything else.

To echo most others, straight pipe your mufflers or flowmaster Super 10 mufflers. It's there loudest one. I don't know of any E55 running them though. I have Shardul mufflers and secondary resonator delete and mine is loud. I love it and it turns heads everywhere.

I have an interior video on my channel...BUT the sound I hear actually driving it doesn't make it to the video. Might be my tablet that I'm using but my car is 10x louder than stock...maybe more! The supercharger whine made it's way to it though, lol.
