82mm Tb worth it ?

Im looking to Gain some more power, And It looks like the next thing Should Be a 82mm Tb for me. My Mods right now are in My sig.

From reading around Looks like a 82mm TB KIT Nets about 40WHP. Is this Right ? Thats Alot of WHP from such a Small mod alone. I havent Been able to find Any before and After dynos to this claim.

Im still Running a Stock CP due to not having much cooling Mods.

Definitely power to be had there. Some of us are having some issues with codes and a hiccup or two, but it's still driveable and able to lay smack down on lesser vehicles.

Maybe stick with the 80mm to avoid any drivability issues, since it is proven.

If you want more power, get a bigger crank pulley and do the Killer Chiller and/or trunk tank.

I'd recommend a 168 from Kleemann or Renntech.

Pretty sure it's all in the tune. I have an 82mm with a 180 lower and the car has zero driveability issues.

How do you explain tunes from different companies having the same issue.

I have the 82 TTM TB as well, no issues.. I am also running a 168 crank and smaller SC pulley.. along with my long tubes I have removed my restictions and now she can breathe.. Next week my custom 5" intake will go on.. That alone will get me 16/18whp according to my last dyno tune

Nice! Do you have a pic of the long tube headers in your sig? Never seen those before..
