A quote from member Jshinone from the cls forum on a replica thread to this one.

I am so glad that I was able to avoid that guy from when I first met him.

He did so many of my friends wrong and always blames everyone else for his problems.

Good luck with your situation, I feel for you.

@Guilty, did you happen to notice how many extra miles were put on your car during your 3 week adventure?
Also with your observations it brings back a thought about " Drive it like you stole it ".
There is something nasty to say to a fella who thrashes on a "COLD" AMG. Those so called workers must have thought they were on top of the world, great boss letting them thrash on customers cars. I would also bet the AMG owners were charged for the joy ride and had fuel charges added to their bills @ shop rate of course.
Just saying !

I usually check the mileage in and out but this time I didn't bother because my car was stuck in 1st gear and he couldn't go anywhere

Oh, and did I mention that they were drinking beer at the office before they left? lol

My Bruce Experience

I dont post much, but had to make a comment. Wanted to get some work done on my 05 e55. Made a post regarding honest mechanics in NY. Several members here requested I see Bruce the amg god...lol. Long story short, was in the area one day and decided to stop by his shop. There was a 05 wagon in front with wheels that looked pretty good. I was pretty excited. Knocked on the door for several mins, but no one answered. Decided to take a peek inside through the window.....and WOOOOOOOw! It was the most unorganized shop I ever saw in my life. It was such a mess. Told myself, there is no freakin way I'm leaving my car here. Guess my intuition payed off. BTW, talked to him a few times prior...he seemed to be a good guy. Damn!!!! Why can't people be honest?

Just for fun... and this kept going for another week... where I was talking to him over the phone... and begging him to release my car. I sent a AAA tow truck to pick up the car, AAA asked me why I'm towing the car from the same place where they dropped it, I told them because the shop wasn't able to fix it in a timely manner so I'm taking it somewhere else, they said ok. They sent the tow truck to pick up the car (I was still in the city) and guess what? Bruce told them he was actually working on the car and that he doesn't understand why it's being towed... before sending the tow truck I asked for his permission and paid the full balance for the parts that he bought.

I call him, yell at him (he yells at me back and call me a spoiled rich a$$hole and that I'm not the center of the world). I manage to get AAA to dispatch another tow truck, this time they said they're not towing the car because the shop owner said I owed him a balance. I got really mad rented a car from Hertz and drove an hour there to go see him. I took my keys and called a THIRED tow truck that had to be dispatched from the city because the local tow company wasn't taking me seriously anymore.. that's the reason why I was still there at 8PM waiting for them to arrive.... and that's when I saw him and his 'workers' take customers cars home.

I took my car to Bergen Imports in NJ (about 20 min from where I live) and car was ready next day....

Sorry for the grammar guys, english is my 3rd language and I'm still learning lol.

Yeah, I myself am pretty pissed reading all of this...I just had my car done by Bruce a couple of months ago. Everyone and their mother recommended Bruce....Now all of the sudden there are a million people bashing his work. I don't get it. Did all your cars suddenly break down? Is it not fast anymore? He is expensive, but everyone insisted it was worth it. My car just has a weird idle right now that dips down to 500 sometimes and vibrates really bad when it does. I will see if Jerry from EC can help since I believe he did the tune.

Just venting. Nothing like the OP as I think I pretty much got what I paid for. I brought mostly all of my own parts to him. Just mad how everyone praised him as the greatest thing since slice bread until this thread. This is in no way me covering up for Bruce or anyone. Just that I normally read a lot, and trust what I hear on these boards....

To be clear, there are only a handful of people who have "praised him." They just speak loudly and often so it may seem like more people actually put him on a pedestal.

And I am amazed this thread keeps getting better and better.

All this makes me sick to read for the past few days, I knew he was too good to be true, this and all that happened to me confirms it. As for the cars being driven for personal use there were suction cup marks on my windshield from a radar detector, they didn't even realize I have a built in $4k detector and jammer from k40 in the car. He also was using my ez pass that was in there and when I got car back it had a transmission problem that I had to fix! He also took my ezpass from my car. I asked him about it and he told me it was on his desk. What a scumbag I hope he gets all that is coming to him. Amazing that someone with such a big mouth to blame and bash everyone else can't even defend himself!

I was meaning to ask you how it went with Bergen Imports. Harry took care of you? What was the issue with the trans?

I posted my experience with Bruce (in this thread). It is there to read. I have the fuel rail- Prior, I was going lean at top RPM due to the injectors going static. Tested with injectors and rail, and was under 80%. Jeremy said it was much easier to tune given my mods and need for fuel.

I have the TTM scoops - Do they do anything? I don't know, but they look cool. I *****ed about the fit, but I like them nonetheless.

Bruce also did my TB and housing - He did it fast and gave me a good deal.

If everything here is true, I feel bad for you guys. I hate to see problems like this arise. It is not a case of "supporters" vs "Those who have been wronged"... I have not spoken to Bruce in over a year, but I am sure someone has. My experience was good.. and that does not preclude problems from coming up after the fact. I had good dealings with B. Gorman too. That went to hell, but I missed it.

I took a snapshot of this Facebook Page
As you can read from his caption at the time he told you he blocked out space in his garage for you. Well apparently he didn't.
"The TTM Stable is packed"

I would go in on his facebook and take every a snapshot of every post he made on his shop and his claims he did not plan for other cars between December and March.

Am I the only one here that thinks he should be banned as a sponsor ? I cant imagine this forum would want a vendor like this around and attached to their name.

I was thinking the same thing but I guess the mods can't really do anything unless until this is proved or I guess until the time he's paying the fees he can remain as a sponsor. Not sure how it works maybe someone else can shed some light
