But in all seriousness, what you say has crossed my mind about about 99,999 times since this whole thing begun.

Haha...I could eat both of your guys for breakfast and still feel hungry...actually I am hungry right now! Read my thread I started back around May 2013....it clearly indicates my size as I was concerned I could not fit in the drivers seat of a W211 E55 when I started looking for them. Thing of me like a Tsunami with feet....just get the hell out of my way when I start walking towards you...hahaha...Bruce is going to love meeting up with me..but as I mentioned earlier my size is not my issue...it is my Sicilian blood temperament that gets me into trouble.
To give you guys over in the US more of an indication of myself think of Tony Soprano....multiplied x 2 and my attitude makes Tony look like a P*SSY. Oh and whilst I mentioned Tony RIP James Gandolfini.
Regards,
OZZYAMG

I have never paid a mechanic in advance. I feel for the OP but really! Sending a small shop $2000 a month for several months in advance and then sending $4000 in cash so the guy can avoid paying taxes on it. Just the fact that he wanted the $4k in cash is a major red flag and this setup smelled really bad from the get go. Dude, get a savings account and put the money away and then pay after the work has been inspected. Money ****s even good people up. The money is gone and I will be surprised if you ever see any of it. Again, I feel really bad for the OP, but WTF!

I have had specialty shops do some pretty intense mods and never had to pay in advance. If they wanted money up front for the parts I provided the parts and saved money in the process.

Wow.
So another one bites the dust. For a while this guy had some really interesting contributions. I LOVED the scoops but I could not live with paying $xxx for something that had no moving parts and cost .75c in materials to make. The rail was good too. I remember when EVERYONE was screaming you need a rail to survive.
Anyhow, this is another lesson to you guys buying these cars used. Stick with the guys who know what the F they're doing. Shardul, Chawk, Ec, moj brat Aleks, these are the guys who are doing this for the love of the cars, not the money.
OP, I hope you recover every penny that you spent. There's no question that it was a silly mistake sending him the money up front but I can see why you did what you did. For a while, everyone was on this guys sack like he was the messiah of AMG, there was no waring sign.
BTW, someone telling you they blocked out 1.5 months of their shop time for your build that didn't happen may as well be telling you that you are a retard and he is going to slowly insert his hand into your pocket, sans lube. This statement is actually what made me post. This on it's own deserves one of those "Cool story bro" posters. It takes 1.5 months to plan how to rig some LT's, a pulley, a tune, and a TB? I had that work done in one afternoon with half the workforce in TX.

TTM and FTP comparison
Hi, I am new here, How are you guys.
Anyway, Long story short I dealt with Steve at Fabtech performance with purchasing the Airscoops for my E55.
Steve really done a great job for me by giving me a good deal of air scoops, As at that moment I can't find where to purchase the TTM air scoops.
But then come along Jerome Rota from this forum, And I get my TTM scoops from him. Thanks Jerome!
So now I got two air scoops.
Dealing with FTP is nothing but pleasant.
Hope the OP can't settle the misunderstanding or problem with Bruce at TTM.
As I see a lot of members here has been dealing with Bruce in the past.

Just saw this car on ebay where he mentions TTM being the world record holder! I guess he meant for Ponzi schemes! This is what he wrote...' All work was either done by Mercedes Benz dealer and or Long islands fastest E55 in the world, record holder TTM Motor sports. No short cuts were spared when building this car.'
No SHORTCUTS... From what has been brought to the surface recently, everything was a shortcut!

Bruce @ TTM. Haha. Go figure. I bumped heads with the guy a few times in the past. Everyone was drinking his kool-aid for the longest time over here. I'm surprised it takes something like this to have a lot of people post their "opinions" on the guy and finalyl turn their backs. Dudes been a joke since forever.
