If they are not all using the same dyno, settings, and conditions who really cares? They are all going to be different. You should be looking at who has the fastest 1/4mi time as that will truly tell how much power someone is making IMO.

You still have the same issues on the 1/4 mile, conditions, track prep, drivetrain, suspension setup, vehicle weight, fuel and driver skill will all have an impact.
For me a head to head rolling start and a long road or runway of mile or more gives a better picture.

Who cares? Dyno's are all different and unreliable. I made 570 on a dyno-jet then 619 on another dyno-jet a couple weeks later with hardly any changes. I've been over 800 on a 150 shot on the same dyno but didn't want to chance that at the track.

In all reality Dynos really dont mean much. 1/4 times is a true indicator of what you are putting down, albeit weight and conditions do affect the cars performance. Trap speed is where its at for me.

You can count me as the winner for now then. I'll swing by my buddies shop and have a oddball correction factor put in like some shops might use to impress some customers on mods they have done on various cars. So i'll comeback with my four digit horsepower number later

Here is mine. I am running a 215mm crank pulley and a smaller supercharger pulley. This was also on 87 octane, couldn't find 93 at the time or it would have been higher.

Fastest MPH would be better than elapsed time. Tires, launch, any suspension mods and weight etc etc will make a car with the same HP have faster ET's. MPH is a better determining factor for raw power although its far from perfect as well.

I just thought it would make an interesting thread. There are a ton of variables on both. I don't think either is definitive on a cars true power by itself. I have seen both manipulated.
