FOR SALE: Weistec'd 2006 CLS55 AMG P030
OK. So, as many of you have noted by my previous post, when my E55 got totaled by a rogue no-driver, I bought a VERY sweet, low-miles CLS55 with P030 package. Put a Weistec on it, along with a few other well-planned mods and worked through all the upgrade steps and have it running like a champ.
I planned to take it for an occasional track day, but never got to it. Since I really want to get back to that, I purchased a GT-R.
So, in order to keep peace under the roof, I'm letting the ol' girl go. Here's the specs:
2006 CLS55 AMG
P030 package (limited slip diff, 2-piece rotors, bigger calipers, alcantara steering wheel, stiffer suspension).
Black w/ Black interior
AMG 19" wheels with Pirelli rubber in decent shape.
Tilt/Slide Sunroof
Keyless GO
Parktronic
Rear roller blind
Dynamic seats
Power Cooling package
CD Changer
PERFORMANCE MODS/UPGRADES:
Weistec 3.0L supercharger system (stock S/C goes with car).
82mm MB throttle body (works perfectly)
MBH Monster Cooler/Heat-Exchanger
American Racing Heaters (long tubes, 1-7/8", with hi-flow cats, SUPER nice)
Dad's Trunk-tank Ice Tank with Rule pump
Johnson CM-30 intercooler pump
Snow Peformance Stage 3 Methanol kit (not needed to run safely).
DashDAQ Monitor/Performance Gauge with wideband/temp/boost monitoring
RECENT Maintenance Items:
New Fuel Filter Assembly (<500 miles)
Oil/Filter (<500 miles)
Coolant Flush/Fill
Transmission Service (flush/fill, etc.)
New NGK spark plugs one step colder
Great turn-key car. Very clean in and out. (a few VERY minor paint scratches/chips here and there)
Runs great, trouble free. Appx 575 WHP (not dyno'd, but Weistec has near identical car making 575 WHP + 615 WTQ. I have no way to verify this, but having had an E with just pulley, tune and headers, this pulls a LOT harder at mid to top-end...not even close). *Please no debates. GadetURD ran 10's in his with a very similar setup.
I have lots of pictures and data-logs to provide to perspective buyers. Not sure I'll be happy letting her go, but can't afford more than one automotive toy at a time and the Nissan will be a better track car for me.
$39,900. Car is located Central PA. (about an hour from Baltimore, Philly)
Revised price is $37,500. (a few have asked about a "better deal". So, here it is).
Also have some extras I forgot to list: 2 extra-sized Weistec pulleys, a brand new Weistec air filter, new ASP idler pulley, new accessory belt, new AIT sensor, and a few extra misc gaskets, bolts, etc.
**Will have more pix available tomorrow.

Good luck. Sad to see her go after all that work. I'm sure she'll find a good home. Post some pics of the GTR.

Back up for sale. Buyer backed out.
I have more pix and datalogs to share with potential buyers.
The AFR's and IAT's are excellent. The intake temps actually drop toward the top of 4th gear.

Thanks Sterling. Love the car, but can't keep two toys plus peace at home.
Here's a datalog I did the other day for a perspective buyer. This is with a single-nozzle spray of meth before the S/C. He was curious to see a log to 125, but I went 140 to prove a point. (of course, this was on a closed course since otherwise would not be legal)
Over this 14 seconds, pay particular note of the IAT's how they actually drop after getting into 4th! Timing not getting pulled, except at shift points, very safe AFR's, coolant temps where they should be. Boost steady, yet not over-the-top. (right at the very end, you can see the boost drop, which is where I lifted and hit end-log--too soon regretfully)
There's plenty left on the table for more aggressive tuning by advancing timing, running it leaner, etc. but this is a nice/safe tune, which is what I was going for. Please feel free to ping me with questions.

You ever get that log @ WOT letting it shift on it's own? Your a little rich in some spots and you never get into 6000s rpm wise. My friend is leaning toward the built motor unless you can show that this blower is worth it. I told you we race so he's gotta see. Personaly, I'd love to see a Wiestec CLS down here. That way I can race it. But it's not my money right now.

Incredibly...you're probably right! That is another reason for the hesitation on modding mine further now knowing that I will be probably upgrading cars sooner or later! Ahhhhh...decisions decisions!
