You get mad points for the vernacular craftsmanship but lets be honest . Any panty dropping that takes occurs is a result of the driver, not the car. Girls like old cars because they're fun and unique, but if you're a tool it doesn't matter what you're in. In fact nothing is a proverbial bag of kitty litter up the skirt like an average dude who is a rockstar in his own mind, driving a so-so car like a 5 year old luxury car but he peacocks it like it's a new Ferrari ![Smilie](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/smile.gif)

Agreed....if you're trying to pick up dudes.

I've just never seen a chick, who has the mindset at dropping her panties upon seeing a car they are impressed with, get excited over an old car. I imagine that the girls who drop toe floss over the sight of a car care about one thing....image, or rather brand recognition.

Ya its the Euroteck.. No it doesnt really cover the tail pipes, which is what I liked about the diffuser. It is a very expensive piece though.

2012 CTS-V
I've never run against an E55 yet. Before my V I owned a C63 and the V is a better overall car. Handling, acceleration, luxuriousness and comfort all go to the V. And it's cheaper to mod too. I spent roughly 4K with install/dyno tune for the mods in my sig.

I really hate comparing a V against an E55 because I still have a soft spot for the car. Although the V is a better overall experience, it was something special about the 55k motor. It is so raw and nasty!

Sounds like I need a V. Seems so easy to go fast and they are pretty sharp looking too. What kind of whp is the stock clutch good for in a manual? Would love to drive a manual again, the E55 is my first auto ever.

On average stock manual Vs put down anywhere from 460-475 rwhp/rwtq on average.
On average stock auto Vs put down anywhere from 445-460 rwhp/rwtq on average.
As with any car there are exceptions to the rule. Some manuals will dyno close to 490 rwhp or lower than 460 rwhp, but those are averages I typically see before mods. Most owners typically start off with a simple cheap cold air intake and pick up 15-20 rwhp and about 35-40 rwhp if that cold air intake is combined with a basic tune.
