Traded in the E55 I will miss it but like the new car more.
If anyone is looking for an E55 it's at RBM of Atlanta now getting about $3000 worth of repairs done under warranty and will be at Sandy Springs Ford (right across the street) tomorrow.
For those naysayers until your drive both don't judge and my E was about 2 months away from being out of warranty and it was only depreciating faster and faster.

A couple bolt ons get it deep into the 11's or high 10's from what I have seen.

Although the Boss is better, what's wrong with the GT500 handling? For what it is, I think it handles just fine.
It's no F1 car, but then again, the car isn't meant for turns either.
I think the '13 GT500 is the cream of the crop for Mustangs nowadays. My .02.
But like someone else said, it's always about what you want...if you wanted the Boss and love it, that's all that matters in the end. Enjoy the car in good health and don't forget to mod the **** out of it and run 10s all day without worrying about heatsoak
However, the Boss was built with the intention of takign turns, which is why it has a faster lap time around Laguna Seca than an E92 M3.
Nice pickup. Great aftermarket support as well.
If you get back into an e Amg keep the track car. Both great for completely diff reasons.
I hear ya, the Boss's handling is awesome, I've driven a few and I was thoroughly impressed; but someone buying a Mustang isn't buying it to take it to some road courses. They're buying it for straight line acceleration and dragging. I think that's why the OP made the jump, too - MUCH cheaper to make the 302 run 10s than the E55.
I think that's what ArmoE55's point was when saying to buy the GT500 (granted, OP said out of his price range).
Buying a Mustang for turns is like buying an E30 M3 for straight line acceleration, it's not what the car is meant to do!
