Navigation Disc Needed
Does anyone have a navigation disc they aren't using? My car is a CLS55.
My map is showing my vehicle's location about 20 miles off from where I actually am. I found a burnt copy of a 2010 navigation disc in my car. I am guessing that is what's throwing off my vehicles location. Sometimes it is accurate, sometimes it is off.
If the disc works, I'd be more than happy to buy it off the person. Or even if I can just install it and see if that fixes the problem. I'll pick up any fees.

Yes it's the antenna. I just bought a ebay one for $12 and it put me right back on course. Put your nav in the mode where you can see how many satellites it is connected to, that will tell you if it is bad on not. Like this one http://bit.ly/12eP1lW

I tried running a burned disc for a while and kept getting disc read errors. The longer I kept the disc in, the more often the errors popped up. Switched it for an OEM disc and the errors went away. Not sure if I just had a bad burn or what.....

It needs to be burnt on a DVD- R not a DVD+R. I had the same problem until burned it on a DVD-R.

Wrong forum. No one here will have that disc. (see post #2 above, for applicable vehicles.)

just ordered a 13/14 map.. i still have a 03 disc on my car. Has anyone heard that if you jump up meny versions that it would freeze or get jammed somehow? or should it just work like it should?

Use the service CD (cd 211 589 14 22 00 ) to update the COMAND Head Unit to software version 46/06.
Also the Nav processor needs to be updated, via the nav drive in the trunk (cd 211 589 15 22 00)
