What's the verdict on the smaller SC pulley?

1/4 mile times the car that hit 486 RWHP gained 0.3 secs consistently on 4 runs ahead of his best time pre pulley and tune.

A stock car that was just dyno tune gained 32 RWHP on the same dyno.

It was a dyno dynamics, it was a cold day with temps not getting over 38F all day.

So in conclusion then to op, the supercharger pulley alone is roughly a 30whp mod. Sounds about right. Thanks SavMan. I just ordered this whole setup so will get before and after dyno runs as well.e

I'm heading to eurocharged new DC location this Saturday for s/c pulley, heat exchanger and tcu tune. I dyno'd stock a while ago 411whp 456wtq. I never dynoed with the tune alone. This Saturday I'm throwing her on the Dyno as is and then throwing her back on after the pulley install to see the gains on the supercharger pulley.

I was originally going to go Sunday and stay the night and have the installs on Monday. I was asked if I can do Saturday and I was ok with that so I just have to see if I can stay Saturday.

I added the SC Pulley and made 12whp less but more TQ, it was also 16 degrees hotter tho. It will make more power than stock but most of the power will come from the ECU tune if ur stock. Expect 15whp and 30TQ @the wheels from the pulley

She'll be going on the Dyno with EC tune,cm30 pump, 2nd cat/res delete. By the time they install the heat exchanger, pulley it should be ready for a good reading with the pulley install. I'd be happy with a 15whp 30wtq number. Install date was changed to Sunday so I'll be making the open house

So dumb n00b question. Has anyone on the forum ran a 180mm crank pulley & 83mm S/C pulley? Or is that bad news for a blown motor? Thanks!

That's fantastic. Please remember to dyno with just your tune now and then after you completed mods again on Sunday. Would be excellent for research. Thanks for that in advance

I have a 176 crank with smaller SC pulley, pretty sure there are some running 180 and above.

You will need lots of cooling and likely injectors to match though.

I run a 180mm and smaller blower pulley....have split cooling, looped rail, injectors, headers, exhaust and 82mm t-body...car made 545HP and 650lbs of torque....3 weeks soo far, runs perfect.....

My car is all stock except for a 168 crank pulley. dont k ow what #'s it has now but i heading down to ec openhouse on sunday and they are doing a s/c pulley and a dyno tune. So ill let you know the #'s it puts down.

Is it a Kleemann pulley, do you know? If so, likely has a tune. Find out if you don't know, call previous owner. Better safe than sorry.
