I got mine up to 85 on the drive in to work today and that was like 12 miles. Hope that helps!

^Just wait until he's finished with his new build. For that matter, there are several huge builds going on, although AFAIK, Exotic is the only one building his specifically for the mile. It's a great time to be a spectator. I like watching the 1/4 mile record getting broken.

The mile is easier on your car. You don't launch hard and you allow your engine to ease down before coming to a stop.

This October, boys. You big boys need to bring it. CST-V's are kicking our asses. I should be in the mid 180's this go around.

I'm catholic, so most likely I'll be going to hell on my Jesus comment.

I had an intake leak during last race. Apparently, my undercarriage engine cover was loose and decided to rip off on my last and best run @178.5. My tune was based on 110 and 93 octane mix. My Fabtech intake stole @ 20 hp across the curve.

So, I fixed my problems.........and the car. Changed the intake. Added 180 crank pulley. Changed the cooling. Opened the exhaust. Will adjust the tune to 116 octane.

I want to do camshafts.....just don't know what route to go with brand and valve spring set up.

I see the catholic guilt is strong in this one... Haha

Did you back to the stock intake or just swap out the Y pipe? That looks to be where the restriction is on that set up.

Filters were the problem. Steve did good work...just the small cone(spectre) filters killed me. Max @230hp per filter. I'm working on something right now that might be our solution for better filter flow, while not sucking in engine heat. Not top secret, just not tested. I will post my screw ups and failures for all to make fun of and ridicule as soon as I have the results. lol

Man, be there this October. It would be cool as hell to have a few AMG guys and gals at the Texas Mile. Not many show up....
