Did you place your order through Kleemann USA directly?

Oh. I think you should at least get your money back. But then again, its a custom ordered steering wheel, its tough to find another owner who are willing to pay $2000 for it. If you ever get your money back, I'll order a F1 steering wheel for you!!

1 week delay is pretty normal, even 2, I understand their position of not giving you a discount (unless you paid extra for expediting it to 4 weeks sharp), but $2,000.00 for a steering wheel??!?!?

Cayenne GTS, Cayenne Turbo
W211 E55 aftermarket steering wheels might be more expensive than the usual $600, $700, or $800 steering wheel because of the shifters on the wheel itself.

...but $2,000, I'm not sure if it justifies it?

That's almost a RENNtech chip and pulley!

I can't say anything about spending $2,000 for a lowering module or steering wheel, but I can say that their superchargers are worth every cent. Welcome to the world of MB tuning. Renntech, Brabus, Kleemann, etc. all charge alot for their tuning, but unless the market for MB tuning changes, get used to it.

It's a pity that you don't live in L.A. The Wheel Supply will do it for $200.

You could do it yourself for less than $50 in parts and a couple of hours of time.

...........Has anyone ever heard of William Rau? You can send them your steering wheel and they will add wood accents to it to match the trim you have in your car. excellent craftmanship. you can also design for yourself where on the steering wheel you want the wood vs leather. I have you them before. Very professional service, you can call them anytime and speak to Mr. Rau and get an update. It costs about $600 for the work. May be a less expensive alternative. BUT...........I do not know whether or not the shifters will pose a problem for them, although I tend to doubt that it will. People with Porsches, and Ferrari's with those paddle shifters have sent their steering wheels to them for cosmetic custom work. Give them a try. No, I do not work for them.

Cars and boats!
i heard you can lower the E55 at the dealership!! let them plug the car into the computer and they can lower it for u there!!! Why spend $2000??? Also, yea the RENNTech ECU and PUlley is definately well worth it. Its not only HP gains, but its your speed limiter removal and some crazy throttle response too!!!

Good luck with Evo Sport

I ordered painted side markers for my E320 that was exactly 3.5 moths ago and after repeated e mails they decided not to respond to me any more.

................Be careful because the guys at Evosport are very sensitive to criticism about their lack of customer service. You can become black-balled like me.

There must be some miscommunication here! We do not decide to not respond to our customers. Email me directly at ben@evosport.com, and I will get to the bottom of your order.

For the record, about 50 painted lenses shipped last week, and many more are in stock.
