AMS definitely knows what they're doing with these things.
EDIT: HOLY WTF Small world Moment. The guy driving, Ivan Phipps, is a guy I met back in 1995 when I had my Typhoon. He was from Chicago and he once drove from Chicago to my place in Florida to help me wrench on my truck. ******* was NUTS back in the day behind a wheel. So effing cool to see he's doing something with it. Jesus.. talk about a blast from the past. Haven't seen him since 96'.

He reminds of Josh Kalis back in my E39 M5 days. The dude took an E39 M5, went crazy with supercharging etc. ran 10s, then went to a C6 Z06, twin turbo'd that (I remember watching one of his vids...he had zero traction from an 80mph punch, it was INSANE), and now drives a mid 9 second Supra.
The need for speed never ends and it only grows!
I've sat in a handful of 10 second cars, but 9 sec and below is a WHOLE different world of acceleration.
There are a lot of 10 sec cars out there, but to drop into the 9s is something else...hopefully some of these 55K projects going on will get there!

What's impressive is that RBJ's 60' time is not far off of those first runs where they were "only" running low 8's. I'm using his strategy next time I go to the track as he knows what he's talking about.
